As concepts are described in lesser words yet with perfection, reader saves time thus each line is worth observing. Each chapter here-in called ATOM is smaller in size thereby rendes reader with a feeling of fulfilment. Discription of text keeps Pace with regular incertion of example so that reader understands it well. highly recommendable..We read few chapters & find tcept & to the point dialogue. Each chapter cover topics with examples. One will find this book with easy grasping of content & enjoy in reading the topic after topic. The book price is justified. Review: Who don't know kotlin this book is good start - It's good book, it will help the freshers/who don't know kotlin language. Concepts explained very clearly.

Most Useful with IntelliJ at hand
I have been through all the exercises found on the intelliJ IDE. I found the examples and exercises useful to absorbing the points in individual atoms. However the lack of an index is a serious handicap in finding information particularly when it is not present in the book. Much time can be spent looking for something that is not there. A decent book let down by this lack.

Shame there's no index
This book has no index, chapter numbers, or section numbers. As such it is useless as a reference book, because you cannot find anything. There's even a "Where's the index?" section where the authors explain that the software they chose don't support indexes, which to my mind is lazy and demonstrates a criminally poor choice of writing tools. They tritely add that the eBook is searchable, but the physical book doesn't grant any sort of access to the eBook, so you'd have to pay for it twice. If you imagine a massive markdown document printed out and bound, that's basically what you're getting.

Disappointed in the content
As a experienced java, C++ and python developper I wanted a book to learn Kotlin. Unfortunately the example in this book are often hard to follow, most of the time the explication that come along with the code do not explain as much as they should. If you are new to programmation do not buy this book. If you are experienced then be prepared to do lots of code reading to actually understand what is going on. Moreover half of the book is freely available on the book's website.
