Absolutely loved this! Nothing worse than going to a course with someone as the same ball as you, don’t know what number ball you hit. This is such a COOL way to make your balls your own. So many different designs you can choose from. Had so much fun doing this. I ended up doing 11 balls balls and they DESTROY your permanent marker so just be ready. Start with a fresh one and go to town. The markers they give are decent, only used them on one ball and worked fine, seemed little more wet than the sharpie brand permanent marker. Will mark all my balls from now on.

Super easy to use, well made, and designed compact enough to keep in your bag on the course in case you need to mark balls on the fly. Takes a few balls to get the hang of it, but it creates an awesome putting aid. Very similar result to a triple track ball which is a massive help when putting. I’ve marked probably 10 dozen golf balls so far and it’s creating crisp, accurate lines just like the first ball. You can keep the lines thin or thick, depending on your preference, and can use whatever color you prefer to mark the ball. I’d recommend going with the Milwaukee inkzall job site marker, which is very fast drying and much more permanent compared to a sharpie.

Surprisingly well made little piece of plastic that will help you mark your balls. Whether or not that's important for amateurs, we'll, that's another story.

Was looking forward to marking the lines all the way around the ball. But it doesn’t want to rotate at all. Spins freely until you put the ball in it. Still marks three lines and it’s pretty nice. Just disappointed it doesn’t work like it is advertised.

My dad told me that I should get this and mark my balls. He said that it would help me better align my clubs when I hit. After some work and a few rounds I noticed that I was hitting the ball better and cleaner and it helped me focus my swing at the point of contact. I believe that it has helped me drop a couple strokes off my game. Not a lot but just enough to have more bragging rights at the end of the day in the 19th hole bar.

I was born without the patience gene so I struggled a bit with making this gadget work. Trial and error and more sticktoitiveness than I can generally bring to bear ultimately got the thing working pretty smoothly. *How* you grasp it matters a *lot*. I used one of those "spinner" gadgets to find the "balance" of thr ball to mark a light, "initial" "great circle". That spinner gadget turns out to be less than perfect - at least in my hands. Some of my great circles "wandered" a bit. Figured they're better than nothing, especially as a general guide for this gadget. If it "wobbled" in that spinner as the initial line was applied and the line was imperfect, moving the ball inside this multi-line holder was between tricky and impossible. The two knobs on the side are great for applying perfect friction and rotation once you have it lined up. Lining it up is what is tricky, but it's too complicated to try to explain how to work around it. Trial and error would seem the only way to go. The "guide" spaces for drawing the lines didn't accommodate the Sharpies we had already, so I had to figure out that re-capping the little ones that come with it will "bring them back to life" after they've dried out. They dry out right quickly. The ink dries incredibly quickly and I got very little on my fingers - even with all the difficulty I had with freeing the balls from the gadget once completed. I've never been the best with coloring within the lines, but my finished products were damned near satisfactory in appearance.

If you are trying to accurately mark a specific spot on the ball it’s kind of a pain to squeeze in and line it up. Markers it comes with are too big to mark the ball easily as well. Extremely Chinese, you’ll get a kick out of the sentences on they try to piece together on the box.
