Turn empty water bottles into a great dog toy!
You can recycle your empty water bottles by inserting them in these sturdy toys made of firehose material, then give them to your dog. Dogs seem to love the crunchy, crackly sound the plastic bottles make, when they chew on them. When a bottle gets flat, replace it with a new one. My only negative comment would be that the "tug strap" can be easily chewed in two. But mostly, the dogs play with the toys by lying and chewing on them, so that has not been a big issue.

Just ok
Works fine but not strong enough for my chewer, he chewed it up in pieces in a matter of 1 minute.

Entertaining and hardy
This toy was pretty sturdy and worked really well for about a month or two. Our 75 lb pit bull usually rips through any and every toy in about 10 minutes. He loved the crinkly noise when he bit into the plastic bottle through the toy, and when he finally killed the bottle we could just replace it. We could also play tug and fetch and not fuss too much about him destroying it. However, he's a very aggressive chewer and he worried away at the velcro and seams, which were the first to give. From there, it was the work of a week for him to completely take it apart and make it unusable. This toy lasted far longer than any other toy (except for his favorite teddy bear which for some reason he doesn't completely tear apart). I'm sure the Katie's Bumper would have lasted much longer had we taken it away from him when he started chewing away, but it was working pretty well as a chew toy and it let him get out his boredom, anxiety and chewing urges. I'm giving it five stars not only for it's original function but also for how it withstood being our dog's worry chew.

Not durable
Seems like a good idea and my dog had fun with it for a few hours but chewed it up before the end of the day. Not as durable as I thought. Not recommended for digs that chew.

Not Durable for My Chewer
Nice concept, but only lasted three days as my Mini Schnauzer destroyed the velcro closure end and we had to take it away from him

great interactive toy
This tug is great. The bottle can be changed out and to really get my Black Russian Terriers interested I some times put a jerky treat inside. They've managed to put a few holes in it but it's still serviceable and should last for quite some time. Remember this is designed as an interactive toy. Its great for teaching the release command even though there is a high value treat inside. DON'T put it in the dryer after washing. Don't ask how I know this lol!

So happy I found these on Amazon Prime
So happy I found these on Amazon Prime. I bought one years ago at a dog show. After about 6 years and many dogs playing with it, it bit the dust! I bought 3 new ones :) The strap isn't as durable for hard chewers but the body is really tough. When the bottle inside gets flat you just change it out and it's all noisy again :)

Not for strong chewers!
I thought this was going to be a great toy for my Golden Retriever. He loves to chew. He had this for about 30 minutes before he was able to rip off the bottom seam. Not durable.
