This is going to sound like a fake review because I’m so hyped about this, but this is one of my best Amazon purchases of all time. If you like having your nails done / spend money on manicures at the salon on a regular basis (or even if you just want to start), this will seriously change your life. I have no reason to go to the salon anymore. I just can’t justify the expense now that I have this kit. For the price I had very low expectations, but I’m blown away by the quality and amount of stuff you get with this kit! It really works and it’s so easy!!! It’s SOOOO much faster than painting your nails the old way. As long as you can paint with your non-dominant hand (even if you can’t yet, it just takes practice), you can do a full gel manicure or pedicure in 10-15 minutes. It’s literally just file/buff, base coat, UV light, color, UV light, top coat, UV light - DONE. Or you can really take your time with it and get creative with tips, nail art, etc. The kit comes with really good quality nail files and tools too which alone are worth more than the price of the whole kit. And the colors are beautiful (just as pictured). Truly cannot recommend this enough. Also recommend buying a nail kit bag too (the ones that are made specifically to hold the UV light and tools and have little compartments for the polishes). Love love love!!! Ps: if you have any funky nails that bother you, you can buy clear press-ons on Amazon (fingers or toes!) and *good quality* nail glue, and paint the press on just like the other nails with the gel polish and UV light and it works great. My big toe press on has been going strong for 2 weeks!

This set has quality gel polish and is an incredible value! I easily spend $90 each time I’m at the nail salon (every 3-6 weeks) so I thought I’d try this as an occasional option between visits. While there is effort and time involved with DIY, following the guide in the kit yields great results! The UV light works well and the gel is quality. It rivals the salon quality so I’m pleased. A lot of bad reviews have clear errors in their process of application, so follow the instruction card to a T and you should have great results. The base coat is sticky as the instructions state, so don’t keep curing it thinking that layer will be hard and dry like a gel polish layer. I did dehydrator, primer, base, two coats of color and then the top coat. Easy peezy, it just takes time and patience. Tip: In addition to this kit, I also got the nail dehydrator and primer set. I do think this is key for a better lasting mani. Pictured: the light lilac is closer to white.

I haven’t even gotten to the color yet because I’ve been sitting here for 15 minutes trying to get the base coat dry. Please get a different UV light, this one isn’t it. All of my bottles are full and beyond the lamp I have no complaints as of now. Okay I’ve been using it for a bit now, I can only get it to last about a week to a week and a half, the gel is going to be tacky until the end with the top coat but I cure for around minute and a half just because otherwise it’s wet. Thin layers! I’m also getting a dehydrator because I feel like that may help. Getting a better lamp still may be helpful. IVE HAD ALLERGIC REACTIONS TO THIS AND THE Jodosoone (however you spell it,) brand as well so please fog the love of a things test it first! I had allergic reactions on multiple occasions using these two products and had weeks out of work all together because of it not to mention I couldn’t use my hands. Please be careful with at home kits!

i got this set as i wanted to start doing my own nails no longer get acrylic so doing gel was my other option to have my nails look clean and nice and when i tell im scared to try an other brand because this brand is soo good im scared! hahah i know they might be better kinds but for me this works so well! i do one coat of foundation BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING, it will leave dust or marks instead do one hand at a time for a better finish then i apply one slight coat of desire color cure that for 60 sec then add an other coat cure than then add 2 coats of clear polish that has worked for me to keep my nails strong and not have chip nails but so far so good i also have other sets and lamp as well as drill i use to accomplish nice sets of nails! i get compliments all the time! click on my name so it can take you to my links if you would like to know what else i use

So the first week I tried this product I didn’t really do any nail prep other than wash my hands and use a little bit of rubbing alcohol. Then I had a lot of peeling and chipping on my nails. So I watch a few YouTube videos on gel polish and realize I was missing an entire stop. I bought a nail dehydrator as well as a primer to pair with the set and a different light and my nails stay on all week now. Great products and great nail polish. Definitely watch some YouTube videos and learn a little before you start. Gel polish is much easier to apply and much easier to fix if you make any mistakes. I would suggest buying a larger light and a different basecoat.
