EXO Mini Pro (2 Batteries, 64GB Storage)

I really like the way the drone handles using the remote and its very user friendly. So far my kids and myself have had no problems flying this drone! Pictures are great to with the camera!

After opening and inventorying the contents, the first thing was neither battery would display status or charge. I made several attempts over a 6 hour period, but to no avail. I have a lot of radio control experience, and, IMNSHO, this product is cheaply made based on what it costs. I did watch the videos on how to set up up. Those were unimpressive also. Talking to me like a 2 year old with your cap on backwards is condescending. Shows me you’re not really a serious company. I wanted to stay with a US company, but this one is not up to snuff.

I just got this drone this afternoon. It is my first and I expect many hours of good times exploring various areas with it. It is packaged very well and the shipping was a day ahead of schedule. Looking forward to learning how to fly it.

Drone is almost perfect. It's small, easy to control, video is good. The batteries wouldn't hold charge between flights so you almost need to have them charging the day before you want to use it. Even then I could only go about 15 minutes before it was telling me to return. The auto home feature never worked either. Even from a close location it would just ascend until you can't see it. I took over the controls and manually returned it.Ended up returning the product due to the battery issues.

The drone overheats less than 10 minutes into flight. Battery was hot to the touch. Sadly I also purchased it only to see the price drop $200 two weeks after purchase. Hopefully they will come out with a firmware update to fix it.I have now put this as a 1. It has been 8 days since I sent this drone back in the condition it was in when I purchased it and still it says it is on the way. The customer service is sub par. I did not receive what was advertised (no obstacle avoidance) and performance way below what was advertised as well.

I was looking for a drone from an American company. Exo drones may make drones in America but the Mini Pro is made by Hubsan.If there are not enough reviews here refer to the reviews of the Hubsan zino mini pro. Pluses for me, I can carry it on a jet and carry on other stuff as well. I tested its range and got it out to 2 miles with no problem. It could have kept going but that’s way more than I need. I shoot stills and am not a videographer. The jpeg stills are solid. I would prefer to shoot raw/dng files but I experience serious issues with exposure, temperature, hue. My adjustments in the drone and in photoshop can make the files almost useful, not as good as they should be. Not finding solutions to this on line and haven’t contacted exo on this yet so it maybe some straight forward adjustment. I don’t know but at the moment I must shoot in jpeg. In short; it’s small, it goes, and can take a good picture.Cheaper to buy it direct from Hubsan but I hope Exo (or someone else) will grow to give us a “made in America” option.

The media could not be loaded. Upon receiving the drone and batteries only 1 out of the 3 worked. Had issues getting ahold of EXO and dealing with Amazon. Before we could resolve the issue the only good working battery had crapped out on me as well. Ended up just returning the drone and gave into buying the DJI and have been happy with the decision.
