These are some of the most consistent resin bonded stones you can buy. The diamond sizing in these stones is incredibly consistent with little to no grit contamination to speak of as the particle sizes are so close to one another, much better than most other resin stones on the market. The concentration of diamond is very high so these stones, cut very fast and leave a near flawless scratch pattern due to the very consistent diamond sizing. The only complaint I have about this stones is that you only get about 2.2mm of diamond layer and at the price of these stones that's not cool. Premium resin stones in the 70 dollar a stone range will all have 3+mm of abrasive layer buy not these they are a little more 2mm that's not cool. I still think they are some of the best resin stones on the market but it's kinda hard to stomach 2.2mm of abrasive layer on a 70 dollar resin stone so after you lap them perfectly flat out the box you already have under 2mm of stone. For the price of these stones Jende absolutely needs to be giving us 3MM or more. With that said they are my fav resin bonded stones and I've tried pretty much every premium resin stone brand out there. If they made these on 3x8 inch bench stones I would order a full set the day they released them. Yeah they aren't 3mm thick abrasive layer stones and that sucks BUT they are the best resin stones I've found as far as overall edge finish quality goes and that's what matters most and not to mention they use a very hard resin they are slow wearing and require very little lapping so they will last you a very long time but I still wish they gave a full 3mm of resin layer. With that said they are around 15-20 bucks a stone cheaper than other premium resin stones that are 3mm resin layer stones so I guess that factors on to it, I would still rather them give a full 3mm of resin even if they upped the charge to 90 a stone. Performance these are 5 out of 5 stars Value with 2.2mm of resin at 70 is -0.5 star so they get a 4.5 out of 5 star overall rating.

Good diamond stone ,cuts very well. Nice thickness of diamond should last a long time. Compared to others in it’s class a good price.

Not flat ; swaybacked / concave / low in the center and high on the ends . Good for free hand sharpening ; disastrous for jig sharpening . Oh well it is a halffast world.

These resin bonded stones are my current favorite. I’d love to see them in an 8”x3” format.

This is my first resin stone. I touched up one little blade with this stone in seconds! For now, it seems like it is going to live up to its price and hype! I will buy several more :)
