I use it to store some money they im saving because I don't like using the saving account since I will just transfer it back to my checking and this way I forget about the money I put in the safe and don't take any money out. It's pretty easy to set up your own code and turn use the key. It does do a loud beep but I don't constantly open it only when I got to put money inside so it doesn't bother me but so far for the price I think it's the best and this is my first safe so I'm happy that it's all working fine and it's all good and worth the money

It's a good little safe for the money. Don't expect a tight sealing door like you would get on something more expensive, but it seems secure enough to deter most. Make sure you check the dimensions though, as it is smaller than you expected from the pictures.

came broken with handle loose and wobbly like ready to fall off, yet the outer package was not damaged....to me that could be a return that was sent back out broken...the return was painless but as we all know, time consuming...with that said, i would give this product a 2 star rating anyway compared to other security boxes in the same price range. look around and you'll find better.

Less than 90 days after installation the keys pad and opening mechanism stopped working. Worked great until then, we’ve read the manual and tried all the online suggestions, installed new batteries and nothing. It acts like it’s taking the code but doesn’t unlock. Will be looking for a higher quality safe for our future needs

Was looking for a small closet safe. Very basic unit. Not as heavy or well constructed as I had hoped. I’ve ended up lining the inside with 1/2” thick concrete plates that I made myself to make it somewhat fireproof. It works fine for what I need. Got tired of opening gun safes when needing passport or papers.

Today my security box arrived. It only took a few minutes to put in the batteries and set the code. I had looked at countless safes on Amazon and at Wal-Mart. Read hundreds of reviews. I decided on this one because all the reviews were positive and the price was in the range of what I wanted to spend. It's not the smallest one I had debated that as well. But I figured for $6.00 more it would be better to have a little larger one. It suits my needs. I have some older coins and currency I wanted to keep safe. This little box will do the trick. I was a little disappointed that the handle is plastic but that is the only con. I mean it's not like it cost a lot of money. Also plan on mounting it when I decide on a permanent place to put it.The predrilled holes are an added plus both on the floor and in the back. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase. Maybe later on I will invest in a more expensive model but for now I am good to go. Highly recommend this product. Size is excellent. It fit perfectly on top of my computer desk.

built well, and there are two holes inside the box, so you can install it on your drywall easily. I recommend to buy this if you're planning on putting some valuables in it. The only thing I don't like is that the handle is made by plastic, even though it looks sturdy, but it could be easily broken. Overall good price.

So far I like everything about our safe. Easy setup and easy to use.It does the job.
