I used Psoriasin Deep Moisturizing Ointment - 2% Coal Tar for several weeks on dry, itchy patches. The ointment has a thick, greasy texture that’s best applied at night; it forms a protective layer that helped prevent cracking and reduced irritation by morning. I noticed gradual improvement in flaking and redness, especially on my elbows and knees, though results took several applications to become noticeable. The coal tar scent is mild and fades after a few minutes of application. A little goes a long way, which helps with the price. The tube lasted for a while with consistent use. For anyone using it during sun exposure, be mindful of photosensitivity and consider sunscreen during the day. If you’re considering this for facial use, test on a small area first, as I found it a bit too heavy for my cheeks. Overall, a solid option for targeted body care when you’re dealing with psoriasis-related dryness and flaking.

This helps my husband out tremendously. He only needs to use it every other day as it controls his psoriasis and gives immediate itch relief. It does have a smell but once it dries the smell leaves.

Works really well on my arm psoriasis, but OH! THE SMELL! it's horrible! Luckily, I work from home, so nobody has to smell it, but I won't put it on if I'll be around anyone else! Smells like tar. It did make my psoriasis better.

*3 days ago my hand was so red and itchy it was unbearable, the itching would wake me in the middle of the night. These pictures are after 3 days of treatment. The first day I used it after every time I washed my hands or it rubbed off. Redness is fading, rarely itches, and I’m not waking up with the utter irritation of the itch. *It stinks to high heaven. It’s coal tar, that’s why. I knew this going in. The smell abates as it’s absorbed into the skin. Because I already knew, it doesn’t remove a star *It has a grease base. I also knew this going in. Again my rating remains the same. *There may be other products but this works great. *Also this is a lot of medicine in 4.2 ounces. It doesn’t have to be glopped on, and this may last me until the rapture. *I open the lid, squeeze a small amount and pull it across the rash saving me from getting it all over.' 2/15 - basically the psoriatic rash is gone. I use it once a day.

Honestly not too sure exactly how helpful this cream was. It had a very strong odor which was not ideal

So, I recommend using this at night when you have nowhere to go for a while. It makes you smell like the roofing aisle at Lowe's, but it works. It really helped with the itching and pain of my psoriasis. Nothing else I have tried has worked as well.

Amazing. I stopped using all lotions. 80% of my redness is gone stinks for 30 minutes
