Caribbean Blue Algae Defense 60 Swimming Pool Algaecide/Algicide Pool & Spa Chemicals

This Algae treatment was exactly what we needed to get our above ground salt-water pool cleaned and ready for swimming. We had a lot of rain in the spring and with it came some extremely hard to kill algae in our pool; my husband tried several other treatments with no luck (even the expensive ones from Leslie's Pools). I did some research and read a bunch of reviews and concluded this Algae Defense 60 might be the solution to our problem...and it was! We followed all the instructions exactly; the 1st treatment was AMAZING...within 24 hours the algae was dead and the water was a very light green....still cloudy after the 1st vacuum to waste (also back-washed and rinsed the sand filter pump). Then my husband added a treatment of flocculant and 24 hours later the rest of the algae (which was white now) was on the bottom and ready to vacuum out. We were swimming on the 2 day.....by the 3rd day our water was crystal clear (we also had "super-shocked" the pool to give our salt-water generator a boost)...and we've had no problems since!

I think it will work eventually.

We have been using this product for 5 years and is a great product it does what it said we us this for closing up the pool at the end of the year and when we open it up the water look real nice .
