Magic Palette Color Mixing Guide 11.5 Inch

I’m still learning oil painting and mixing the right color is not as straightforward as many people might think. This handy dandy chart helps me save a lot of time for finding a good mix on my easel that’s close to what’s in my head. I don’t have every single color that this chart references - but I have most, so it’s still quite effective. It’s also been a surprising tool in other ways - rather than just be a formula for me to follow, it’s been a revelation at times to see what colors can be created from unlikely mixes.I have this hanging on my wall next to my easel and refer to it often. It’s a low-cost tool that every painter can use.

I love that this color chart will hopefully take any guesswork out of choosing colors for my watercolor painting. I have not really had any in depth color theory, and love that this chart can make life a bit easier. Thank you.Great seller, arrived on time and in a box so it was not damaged .

Great mixing chart,but, like other reviews have stated, it arrived with a crease in it. I believe it's just a packaging flaw that could've have easily been corrected by changing their packaging practices.Also, it was a little on the flimsy side, but I fixed that by self-laminating it in clear vinyl contact paper. Problem solved. They should consider laminating the chart and just charge an extra $1 for it, so it could be more durable and longer lasting. I would have given this product 5 stars if it were not for the pesky crease in it.

The media could not be loaded. I just received and laminated this awesome color mixing chart. I wished it came laminated so I didn’t had to make a trip . Anyway, I think the colors and quality of paper is good but thin. Lamination really work. It saved me hours of time to mix the colors and I can refer to it whenever I want. The instructors were pretty clear as well. Now I just have to start using them and will update my review once I do some painting time. I regularly use the 20 colors Windsor and Newton for water color

Makes color mixing much easier

This is awesome! As a new and struggling “artist,” I appreciate using this as a guide to get me to colors that I’m looking to mix. I kept it in the plastic wrap it came in. Laminated would be a good option for this.
