Adore this author
She has not written one story that doesn't grow inside you, taking place in your daily thoughts and the manner in which you view the world as you immerse yourself into her world.

Another great read
I am trying to read every book written by this author. This story is set in chille and Cornwall and very enjoyable, Santa Montefiore is so versatile in her locations and romances. Thoroughly recommend

Not for me!
I love a good book but I just couldn't get into this one. It didn't excite me at all and seemed to move so slowly. By the time I'd ploughed through to page 125 and realised there were still another 450 to go I just had to give up. This is the first Santa Montefiore novel that I've read and, sadly, it will be the last. I'm off to find another John Grisham book!

A lovely book
A lovely book which I thoroughly enjoyed. Santa Montefiore never disappoints and this book was no exception. It held me spellbound from page 1 to the final page and will stay long in my memory.

Santa didn't let me down.
Once again I loved Santa's writings. She captivates me like no other author. Her stories weave in and out leaving me reading late into the night and the early hours of the morning, desperate to see how the next bit unfolds. Her characters feel alive as do the settings. I just wish my pathetic attempts as a review could do her justice. Suffice it to say I have loved every single book of hers I have read. Now I have finished this one , on to the next.

Not one of her best
The story line was very good but I found parts of this book average and lacking pace. I would have preferred less about Federica’s time in London and a little more about the early years in Chilly!
