LOVE IT!!!
I have a 6-inch middy cut. It takes me an hour to style my hair like it shows in the book, but I love it! This tool makes creating the pin curls sooooo much easier than trying to do them with just my fingers. I love how she explains the anatomy of the curls and how the position affects the set curl. I shampoo and condition my hair. While damp, I put in some leave in conditioner and Tigi Bed Head Foxy Curls Contour Cream and comb it through. While forming the curls, I spray in some Lottabody (diluted 3 parts water to 1 part setting lotion) and then curl them up and let air dry. The curls are quite crunchy when I take them out of the clips. I have a boar bristle brush that has some nylon bristles in it too. I use this to brush out the curls and form the style. I'm very happy with this purchase and if I lost or broke the pin curl tool, I would most DEFINITELY buy it again.

Darling!
This arrived sooner than expected. Very nicely wrapped in pink tissue inside a darling box. Comes with the little instruction book with photos for demonstration. It does take a little practice. But also in the box was a coupon for 20% off on their website and other offers, which I thought was really nice. There was an actual packing slip in the box. I about died, remember those? It really helps keep things in order to have that packing slip. It has a lot of information on it. I always look for one in my packages when I order online but seldom see one anymore. Seller is very efficient.

Very helpful!
Very helpful for making pin curls and the instructions are fabulous. If you check youtube there are instructional videos too (I don't think you *need* them because the instructions are really nice...but if you want to see it in action before you purchase, you can do so!). I really like it because I had difficulty doing pin curls without it.

Doesn't work
Unless you have the hair of a balding toddler order the regular one . Seller is also trying to make customers pay return shipping

Not easy to use
My hair is relatively thin and shoulder length. Tried the very first time today and it is extremely hard to use. Maybe works better with some hair products. Will definitely work for the people that have the hair exactly the same length (my hair gets thinner to the ends). Overall as of today i am unhappy, especially knowing the price. Will give it another shot later.

Perfect Pin Curls & a Good Investment!
After twisting instead of rolling, struggling with my fingers and then a tube of eyeliner to help me out I finally decided it was time to invest in this tool. It arrived within only a few days of ordering- way before it was expected to! The tool is just the right size, and is a much heavier plastic than expected. The booklet details how to do a ton of vintage hairstyles with loads of photos. Their website is equally as awesome. It may seem pricey, but as someone who has been looking in stores for weeks for a similar tool, I got to say it is well worth it. After the struggles I went through to help me pin curl in the past, this tool makes it a breeze.

It was packaged nicely...
I was excited to find this product, as I used to have one a long time ago. This is not at all what I expected. It arrived beautifully packaged with a nice instructions booklet, but the curler end is very tiny, 5/8 inch across on the big end and 1/2 inch on the small side. The whole unit is 4 1/4 inches long. Such a shame, it looks well made, but tiny.

Pretty Spiffy
It works as advertised, though it will create very small, tight curls. That's fine for some looks, but if you want a slightly larger or looser pin curl result, you're better off wrapping the hair around the middle portion of the device rather than using the ends. It's a good time-saver though, and I definitely like it.They could be nice and sell packs of these rather than making you pay that price for what is basically a plastic rod, but I can't complain too much because it does work.
