Klonimus 1911 Extractor 45 ACP

I was able to install this with no tools. It was a little snug, but some Hobbs #9 and I was able to press it in with my thumb. I was also able to remove it (very important) with just a little screwdriver in the slide stop slot. I did this several times while adjusting tension (it was a bit light), and after doing so, insertion and removal got easier.It does stick out approximately .015" as can be seen in the photo. This is significantly less then the Wilson Combat would have. Also, the Wilson Combat would have required metal to be removed to insert it all the way due to a slightly larger diameter. I sent the WC back and went with this for less money.This is an initial review. I will update after a trip to the range.Update: 150 rounds today with no failures of any kind.

Dropped right into my parkerized RIA slide. My original extractor was also parkerized and much too tight l, but this sucker works great. I would definitely recommend.
