Self-Tanning Face Gel, 2 Fluid ounce

I had it for a loong time (probably expired, but still works great) and it’s been a lifesaver to me. Natural color, healthy glow, and no reaction or breakouts!Definitely has a tanner smell, but only for the night you have it on.

I wasn't sure what the difference between the regular tanner and the face gel was, and since I'm cheap, I almost didn't buy this product. I was just going to use the body tanner on my face too. But out of curiosity of what the difference was, I ordered it… And good thing I did!!The difference is definitely in the texture and amount of tint that each seems to have. The face gel looks more transparent than the body lotion, and goes on much smoother - not to mention it's much more forgiving when it comes to any smears that I may have created when applying it. Because of the semi-lighter tint of this stuff, I also use it on the backs of my hands (after doing the rest of my body and taking the gloves off), and it works great! So now I don't have awkward white hands while the rest of my body is tan anymore, yay! :) Oh yeah, and don't forget your ears like I did the first time around, haha! The best part about this stuff is that it works the first time you use it (I hate things that don't give me instant results), and IT'S NOT AN ORANGEY FAKE TINT! So lie all you want to your friends and family about how you're just a natural sun-kissed goddess.But yeah, long story short, this stuff works great, and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a perfect natural looking glow within roughly 4 hours.

I really love the final color that this gives me. However, using a mouse formula is problematic. I am guessing that it was user error, since I have never used a mousse formula before; however, I prefer formulas with less possibility of user error.When I put it on, it soaked my mitt through by the first limb. I had to put a latex glove on to prevent my hand from getting stained. It also took a very long time to apply.In the end, my body was really streaked with the guide and I looked like I was streaked in mud. It took forever to dry and the smell was obnoxious.However, I am still giving it 4 stars because once I took a shower, the color was beautiful and perfectly even, despite the streaking during application.I only subtracted a star because it took awhile to dry and smelled so bad that I couldn't wait to shower when I woke up. You definitely can't put this on in the morning and shower it off at night.Two coats gave me a great color. About 5 days later, I shaved and applied conditioner to my body, which I exfoliated off with an exfoliating glove. So, it's fairly long lasting!!!

This product has a lingering odor that leaves you thinking about nothing, other than washing it off. But unless you are going to take full shower and wash your hair, you are stuck with it. Forget romantic moments, because this would Gag a Prince.It is a shame because it has a nice consistency and is water based; no greasy or oily feel. And, when tube is first opened, smell is not so bad.But, once this stuff is rubbed in and drying... Good Lord it is obnoxious. And it will get into your bedding and linger forever.I cannot tell you whether or not it rubs off on pillowcase or clothing, because I had to take a shower before it got that far.Why can't anyone make a fragrance free tanning product. Or at least one with a pleasant fragrance?

Tanwise goes on in a gel. I can eat breakfast, fan my face a few times and in 15-20 mins it dried. Now I can put on concealer and a light mineral powder base and off to work. It'll tan over the next hour or two and it doesn't betray me with an overly dark pigment because I used mineral powder base already. Added benefits are it's non greasy, goes over ears and tans there too and will help dry up areas in the T-zone that tend to get black heads a breakouts. Moreover, even if I had a acne breakout, Tanwise will tan the area and help to conceal it. It's THE BEST.Bottomline: Use Tanwise.

I arrived in a warm weather destination and needed a tan face ASAP! I ordered this one — and thanks, Amazon, I now use your service to have products delivered to me quickly when I’m away from home as well as at home!It’s okay, but not great. Priced ok, but you only get a couple of ounces. It’s scented, but not overly so. My issue is that it’s greasy, which isn’t great for oily skin. It was good in a pinch!

I've been looking for a good face self tanner for a while and finally found a good one! It has a nice gel consistency that spreads evenly on my face. The instant bronzing is really pretty (not orange) & it doesn't settle into my pores. I wear everyday over moisturizer so the self-tanning effect is pretty subtle. My face is too dry to wear it alone but would probably build a better tan if used alone (which is a drawback for me). No funky smell, actually smells nice. The bottle seemed small, almost like a hand lotion you'd keep in your purse, but you only need a pea size amount to cover your face. I've been using it daily for a month and the bottle still feels pretty full. I will definitely repurchase until I can find an all-in-one good moisturizing self-tanning lotion that actually works.

This self-tanning face gel is very gradual. My face was noticeably tanner after the first couple uses. It fades evenly, and about as fast as a normal tan fades. It smells nice (not chemically like many sunless tanners). In addition to using this product on my face, I apply it sparingly to the tops of my hands and feet (I use Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun Sunless Tanning mousse for the rest of my body). I apply this product with a mini tanning mitt, so I don't have to worry about getting any excess build-up on my hands. A little goes a long way, and I expect this small tube to last me quite awhile (at least a couple summers) especially since you don't need to apply it that often for a natural glow.
