Mounted great! Suction cup is NOT a cheap thin piece of plastic. It is thick with a sticky gel. Worked great for my GMC terrain install with my ftm-500.Very little bounce when driving down our crap roads. Lots of rural areas and does not loosen. Awesome product

Great radio mounting bracket
Having recently purchased a Yeasu mobile radio for my pickup I needed a bracket to mount the control head over the dash. This worked great. The suction cup has an adhesive on it to help it adhere to the windshield, so be careful when you go to mount it that you know exactly where you want it before removing the plastic cover over the adhesive. I did put two "Command" Velcro strips under the leading edge of the control head to make it doubly secure. It is rock solid now, but can easily be removed by loosening the ball nut that secures the the radio to the bracket leaving the bracket still attached to the windshield and separating the Velcro.

Holding tough in all element exposures. Also holding tough with true rough off roading 4x4ing.

Works well but the suction cup appears to be going bad after only a few months.
At first I loved it. Adhered well, looked good, nice adjustments. I did wish it was about 2" longer arm but that is just my installation. However after a few months it has started to come loose a few times and each time it gets harder and harder (takes multiple attempts) to get the suction cup to adhere. this makes me think the rubber is going bad or some other issue and it isn't going to last long. Hence the 1 star loss.

Very sticky suction cup. Needed this for a non permanent solution for the car it doesn't live in.

It sticks!
It will hold my radio head like no other. The part that sticks on the windshield is ridiculous. It really holds like I never expected. It does however tend to release at the locking points. Really annoying.
