It's fine, but it doesn't put out anything close to the advertised spec
The physical construction of the light bar is pretty decent. It mounts perfectly well, and it looks correct and proper. The main thing to note is that the spec for the light bar advertises 300W, which is just a cumulative addition of the supposed wattage rating of each of the LED bulbs. In truth the entire light bar only draws about 125-135 Watts of total power depending on the voltage, which I tested from 11V to around 16V. Note that the difference in power draw is almost certainly a parasitic power draw from the power regulator inside the light bar rather than any additional power being pushed through the LEDs.The lumen rating is a little hard to test simply because the light source is so spread out, but I suspect that the true lumen output of this thing is substantially below the published rating, probably less than half given the theoretical efficiency of the bulbs. The lights are voltage tolerant down to about 11 Volts or so. Anything below that, and they won't draw sufficient amps and will dim, so they aren't really voltage tolerant down to 9V as advertised. However the light bar does appear to regulate power fairly well above 12V, so you shouldn't have a huge problem there, though I wouldn't trust it up to the purported 32V.I've tried to find various people online who have actually bothered to measure the performance of various light bars. They rarely perform exactly at the published spec (which comes from naively adding up the power rating of each LED), but this light bar is fairly egregious in that it is less than half of that spec. Whether the individual LED bulbs are actually rated at 3W or not is something I don't know, but I doubt it.In any case, this is what you're getting. I think plenty of people buy this and they go, "yup, it mounts correctly, looks nice, and it's bright." This is all more or less true, but you should know what you're getting for the money which is significantly less than half of what is promised. I'm also a little suspicious of the long term build quality, given that wide discrepancy in from the published spec usually indicates other quality issues, but I don't know yet.

Great lights for the price!
I mounted these lights on the side of my house as security lights. I couldn't be happier with them. My closest neighbor is 1/4 mile away and they came down on there golf cart to see them better. I have them connected to Alexa and the pictures really don't do them justice. I have rigid lights on both our jeeps and these are nowhere near as bright. But for $40 vs $1500, I can live with them for my purpose. These lights are still ridiculous bright for the price. For those that care what I did to make a 12V light function on a 120V house. I have 3 light bars wired to a single power supply.https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XR3ZLSG?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_titleThe 400W power supply will handle 4 of these lights. I mounted them in a stainless junction box under the house and installed a smart plug switch in the box so Alexa can control them.

Cheap aluminum housing but good LEDs.
Pros: cheap, LEDs work, looks coolCons: aluminum is flimsy. You can actually twist the 52" bar about 20 degrees just by hand!Threaded mounting holes are easy to strip out!LEDs creates FM radio interference. Static added to music...So... If you want a cheap bar that looks cool and you are careful during installation. You'll be good. If you listen to a lot of FM radio I'd probably opt for a higher quality item.

Bright, sturdy, but half the power it ought to be
I've been using this as a shop light for about a year, using a 120VAC->12VDC power supply. It's sturdy, waterproof, and while the vanes on the back get rather hot, it's not dangerously so.I measured the current at the following voltages:VDC | A | W8.0 | 0.1 | 0.89.0 | 2.0 | 1810.0 | 5.2 | 5211.0 | 9.4 | 10311.2 | 10.1 | 11312.6 | 10.9 | 13725.0 | 5.14 | 128As you can see It seems to pull ~130W at any voltage above 11ish, despite the 300W advertised rating. I've docked a star for this. It advertises 22,000 lumens, which at 130W would be 170 lumens/watt, a best-in-class figure that I don't believe. I suspect it is closer to 22,000/300W, or 74 lumens/watt, much more in line with the price point. This works out to around 10,000 actual lumens, which is consistent with my experience with lights that have more trustworthy output values.

Built good and a lot tougher than i thought.
Recently Got the straight 52in 30w light bar for spontaneous random bush adventures wit my chevy k2500 3/4 ton 4x4 only thing was not sure if there are any uper windshield light bar bracket mounts for early 90's chevy full size trucks? Made a quick mount with scrap metal and speaker magnets and a rachet strap. while i had it reating on my lifted k1500sierra (to make aome solid steel brackets speaker magnets only work for light cruzing) the light bar fell off the roof and bounced off the step bar thought was done or atleast have some kind of issues but it handled (keep it wrapped in the thin plastic foam from the box it was in) so seem to be pretty strong to handle a 6 1/2 ' fall and bounce off a 4" smitty built steel step bar most cheaply made things dont last a few days around me im shure this one will last long with my destructive driving and stupid places i go around maui with bigger speaker magnets to mount it on the roof if i dont finish my brackets or half rack i started?

Use 30A fuse and 10AWG wire.
Sturdy. Aluminum housing and mounting. Stainless steel hardware. Nowhere could I find the current draw for fusing and switch or relay rating so I calculated it based on 300W which at 12V is 25A. So I used a 30A fuse.

he is pleased with the performance
This was a Christmas present for my son and as far as I know, he is pleased with the performance. At least I have not heard anything bad about the light so I'm sure it's working fine.
