Starmist Premium Deluxe Misting Kit, 40'

Now that it's up, we love it. Great mist, cools our covered patio on hot evenings fast! We spaced each nozzle 2' apart, which provides a very nice blanket of fine mist along the perimeter of our patio.Would have been 5-star, but installation was a pain. INSTALLATION NOTE: when making the connection, there are 2 stopping points. When you insert the tube, it will hit a stopping point about 1/2" in. YOU NEED TO KEEP PUSHING another 1/4-1/2" to fully set the connection. I didn't the first time I tried hanging this up, and the thing leaked at every connection. After taking it down, resetting each connection, and rehanging, no leaks.

Like someone else stated the 40 feet is a bit misleading as 10 feet is used for the lead. Pushing the hose into the compression fittings takes an extra push. Be sure you push until you hear the click. I thought I had most of mine connected properly until I turned on the water. Surprise! A lot of leaks. I took care of them one by one and in the end it worked perfect with no leaks.

Ordered this product for my camper awning. everything came in on time and is high quality. Be sure you press the hose into the connection all the way and make sure they are seated. I read a few reviews that said it leaked once installed but i suspect they didn't seat the tube into the connectors all the way. I initially made the same mistake. Great product. will buy again.

This thing leaked like crazy at every fitting. I tried twisting the tube as I pressed it into the fitting as the instructions suggested, but nothing I did helped. The instructions also indicated that the system will leak from the fittings for 2-3 minutes at the beginning, but that the connections would eventually seal themselves. I let the water run for at least 15 minutes as I tried to fix the connections one at a time and nothing improved even a little bit. This product is terrible. Do not waste your time or money.

Product description is not exactly accurate. It has 16 nozzles with recommended distance of 2' between them, that makes it 30' of coverage. The other 10 feet of line are supposed to be used as "lead" line. I had to order another one to complete my installation.Note that the package includes T-connector, but only one terminating nozzle, so if you use a splitter, you will have no way to close the 2nd line. This is why I am still waiting for the 2nd kit to arrive in order to be able to finish my installation.

This mister is by far the best one we have ever owned. Brass jets, sturdy tubing. Has a water filter to filter out impurities. Extremely easy to install. Comes with everything you need to install it.

Easy to put together and you can customize it as you like, long length, and it worked well for our Memorial Day barbeque. We attached it along our deck railing and while those sitting close to it got kinda wet, they were not upset because it felt really good on such a hot day.

If could give zero stars I would. Was so excited to receive this product since it’s been 110 degrees outside so installed it immediately! All it did was flood my patio. Waited the few minutes to for the leaks to seal. Nope just kept pouring water out. Total waste of money and time!!!
