Skullcandy Mod Wireless In-Ear Bluetooth Earbuds - True Black

I wasn’t planning to leave a review, but on my commute this morning my AirPods died and I had to dig through my bag. I found these earbuds buried at the bottom, abandoned months ago. I used them daily for a year and a half. The case lid had come off, one earbud had lost most of its sound, and eventually they became my “just in case” pair. They’ve been sitting untouched in my bag for seven months. Somehow, they were still at 100% charge. I don’t know how they’re still going, but I’m impressed. Thanks.

I bought Skullcandy Mod, it has a nice quality sound. It fits very nicely in the ear, I haven't done any rigorous movement yet in it though. On my S10, seems to be better. It is rated ip55, which is great for protection.

Starting off the bass from this will obviously be worse than actual over-ear headphones, sometimes you miss out on certain sounds and will not be able to do anything about it. For example, raising the volume to better hear a soundtrack will make dialogue excessively loud. Other than that I find the buttons on the sides problematic as you have to push pretty hard against them to get a click to register which is uncomfortable as it pushes the earpiece deeper into your ear. Some other earbuds have capacitive touch pads instead which would be a much nicer experience. Battery life is fine though i haven't measured it. It's designed so that they automatically turn off when you put them in the charger and turn on when you take them out. I've had mine for a year and the contacts on the earbud chargers have started to degrade a bit and it so sometimes if you turn them off and put them in the case they'll turn on 🤦. The software is fine and the two buds are recognised as a single device, e.g. if the battery of one is low you can swap it out for another without losing connectivity. What these have over even something like the sony wh1000xm4 headphones is the ability to be connected to multiple devices at one time. I normally have my laptop, phone and possibly ipad connected to these headphones at the same time and the experience is really good, something which was really annoying on the wh1000xm4 (they may have updated them since the last time I used them).

Best earbuds i've owned because of 1 reason... Tile finding technology. I went to a massive park to play some golf and listened to some tunes and came home. Then i realized I'd lost my earbuds, i then drove back after seeing they were last located in the park. I used the alarm feature in the app to make the earbuds play the noticeable sound from about 10 ft away. I walked back and forth down the field until i heard the sound and to my amazement i actually found them lieing in the grass completely covered. There was no way I would of found them otherwise and I used to go through 2 or 3 pairs a year of earbuds. now I'm 10 months on from buying and I've lost them atleast 6 times in that time but always been able to recover them so they have saved me a lot of money.

Very nice buds, sound quality is very good and battery lasts long time. Also if you connect through the app you can modify the sound by what you listen.

A real shame, as these are almost excellent. But the product is let down by awful sound quality when using the microphone. I tested these out and even when speaking very clearly, it's very hard indeed to make oneself understood when speaking. If you are just using these for listening, they're very good, but if you plan to use them for phone conversations, avoid at all costs. I really tried to do all I could to rectify this issue, and downloaded the app to try and change the mic settings. But it told me that the AI sound reduction setting when using the mic was preset and couldn't be turned off. A real shame as they're almost there with this product. But a definite 'avoid' if you ever plan on using them to make phone calls.

Really nice ear buds. Can switch between multiple connected devices as needed. Great functionality, and a lot of settings can be done via the app. Output is good, and lasts long with good battery life.

What a set of ear phone standard mixer setting sound ok but you go custom what a difference I would compare these to beats Sony and JBL I don't think you could get better for the price or even up to around £100 good battery life good sound fast charge easy to use connects fast and feel nice in the ear sleek look to them in the end these headphones have shocked me and I'm more than happy with them I have recommended to a lot of people who will be makeing orders shortly

The multipoint pairing alone is worth the price, the sound is decent, treble and bass are well balanced. Can't ask for more for the price point. Some demand for apple earpods quality without looking at the price point. We get what we paid for,and I get more with these mods. 5-stars!

Decent sound quality. Good battery life. Haven't had any complaints on phone calls. Both earpieces work independently so even if battery is low, you can charge alternatively.

Bought them for the multi mode which works great! Volume a bit low in them.
