Q: Will this fit my canon powershot sx420 is?

No. The Canon Powershot SX420 is a fixed lens from what I can find. You’ll have to switch to a camera body that accepts different lenses. Your Canon can already achieve the 55mm look, you just won’t have a low 1.8F stop like the lens has.
