t:case (Pink)

This is my go to pump case, my other one lasted about 2 1/2 years but I metal clip started to stretch out due to clipping to my belt nonstop.You can’t beat the price and quality!I was gonna get the type 1 tactical case but I didn’t like that it had no protective edge all the way around the screen. I wish tandem made prettier/cooler cases but I’d rather have something that’s functional!

Love the color. It’s my first pump that isn’t the Medtronic MiniMed and I wanted to have some color back. I can’t wait to get the sticker for the front to tie it all together.Taking off my black case and putting the green case on was a bit jarring at first on the back because it makes the black sections of the pump standout. The is good and bad. Wish tandem has some other pump color option, though on its own black is very sleek. Seeing the black part of the pump is not as aesthetically pleasing but it does help me distinguish between what is the pump and what is the case. Makes it easier to change the cartridge and pull the pump out. Turns out I was pushing on the case not the pump when I was trying to get the black case off.I’ve only had the pump for 5 days so the case it shipped with was the newer updated design with the belt clip that has the grip. The pictures on amazon had me worried that buying it off here I might get the older design. But looking at the most recent review pictures I saw the new clip so I took the chance. I was not disappointed. My new green one is exactly like the black with the same clip. So no need to switch them around.The black I’ll keep in case the green one breaks. I can’t say much on durability. But I imagine if you take good care of your pump and are not trying to constant pop it in and out of the case then there very little room for breaking it.I can say the color on the hard plastic is solid. I was thinking of getting the pink but for some reason the pink little to be more of a transparent plastic from the picture I saw.The clip is moveable if you want to change the position or remove it, but you will have to take the case off the pump to do so.

Highly recommend if you're looking for a similar case like the tandem t slim x2 originally comes in. Plastic but it'll definitely protect the pump edged and the clip is can be sideways so it's comfortable

I was so excited to get this case! I've had my pump for 3 1/2 years an I had been using the case it came with until I got this one. The old one had become cracked and the clip was too loose, causing my pump to fall off.The new one is similar to the old one. I can once again clip my pump firmly to my bra without fear of it falling off every time I move. The button on the top is easier to push down than with the old cover, which is nice because I sometimes had to jam the button down several times to get it to work. I love that there are several color options too.

It is difficult to put on or take off. This might not be a big deal if you didn't need to do it every three days to change the cartridge. The clip is also a bit tight to put on heavy and midweight clothing. It seems expensive for the basic case it is, but my daughter was excited about the purple color is nice.

I really like the gripper on the metal clip. Very secure and won’t slip off leaving my pump hanging from my skin unlike the original case that just has the metal clip and no gripper attached and fell off at least 2 times a day. Talk about aggravating.Interesting that on this case the packaging said sold in France only 🤔 and the ones available on Tandems site for the USA is the version that falls off with no gripper attached to the metal clip.. why was it sold like that 🤷‍♀️

I'm back and forth on this product. The metal clip is so weak and bendable. It's actually perminantly bent out, even when I'm forced to take the matal part out and bend it back into shape. It is what it is. A cheap price of rubbery material around my device that has a very weak metal clip. I bought I once 2 years ago, ilmetal clip broke and I was so frustrated I didn't get a new one until a couple months ago mainly for lack of much of a market for other tandem pump cases or 3rd party makers. But I'm close to tossing this one too.

I wasn't crazy about the original Tandem case that came with the pump because it lacked rotating feature that I had become used to, but after some use I realized I almost wear it horizontal anyway. Besides, the cases I've had that do rotate always broke within a short time.This case is better than the original. #1 because it comes in colors other than black. And #2 the clip now has a rubber pad built into it that makes it much more secure. It grips your belt very well without a hook on the end that tends to make removal very difficult. And it is endorsed by Tandem.
