Reliable ice maker
Still working good ! Fairly quick and easy to use. You’ll have your ice. Good for a few glasses at a time. Can make some noise when at work - to be expected

Great machine, but stay up on the self cleaning.
I’ve had this little ice maker for a little over a month and it does a great job. It’s very quiet until the ice drops, but even then it’s not very loud. Super easy to clean with the self cleaning setting which it recommends to do every other week. I recommend popping the ice out once it’s made and throwing it into a large freezer bag for storage. Don’t bother trying to place it into some other container as this will just freeze into a solid block of ice. Freezer bag works great and you can drop it on a hard countertop and all the ice will be separated and ready to throw in a beverage.

Nice ice maker for the price.
Bought this for our small house. The ice maker is a touch noisy but it gives nice quality ice. I love the soft ice. We use the large size ices setting but it will make smaller pieces of ice. It looks good, seems durable . The size of machine isn’t too much for out galley kitchen.

Perfect for ice
This machine is a beast. It’s heavy and takes up some space, but it does produce a good quantity of ice in a relatively short time. Perfect for parties! It replace the ice maker in our freeze and I am far more impressed by this machine than the built in ice maker. Easy to clean so no fears of mold build up! I would definitely recommend

Makes very nice clear cubes
I've had this ice maker in use for several days now, and I'm very happy with how it performs. I use distilled water to get the best ice, but tap water works nearly as well. The cubes come out nice and clear due to the flowing water as they freeze. The machine regulates itself, so just leave it on, and it will cycle as needed to keep the bin full. Some ice will melt over time, but the water will be recycled into new cubes. The cubes fall out as an array, but poke at them with the scoop and they will easily break apart. The machine does make some noise when running, but it's not very loud and since it's in the kitchen, it's not a problem if it runs in the middle of the night. The unit seems to be well made, and it has stainless steel molds which won't have plating detachment issues as I've read about on other unit's reviews. Other ice makers that produce cloudy ice or mush ice trap the minerals, and will taint the taste of your beverage. Clear ice is the purest and best!Pay attention to the instruction to let it sit 24 hours after setting it up, before you plug it in and turn it on. During shipment and unpacking, the unit may be tilted enough to allow the compressor oil to end up in places other than the crankcase. Letting it sit allows the oil to return to the crankcase. If you plug it in too soon, it could damage the compressor.

On the fence?? BUY IT!!!!
If you're on the fence, just buy it!!!Idk how we went so long without having an ice maker! We don't have one on our refrigerator and there's hardly any room in the freezer for a big bag of ice. So, the only time I could have ice was when it was cold outside and we could keep it in a cooler outside 😭. Which is sad for me because I only drink water and prefer it with ice in my cup that lasts all day and I love my iced coffee! We also make our own frappes at home. When my husband asked what I wanted for Valentine's Day I asked for this and he said "ok!".We are both so pleased with it! We watched in amusement as it made its first batch of ice. It's fast and simple. One round of water fills a gallon size baggie with ice. We keep two in our freezer at all times. Saves room yet we always have ice. There is a bit of a chlorine / chemical smell the first couple of rounds of ice. It warns against this in the manual. Obviously, new products and plastic take time to get that smell out. The ice however doesn't taste like it. It also has a cleaning function. The bullet ice lasts a long time!!!I don't have a fancy name brand cup. I spent 12 dollars for one off of Amazon and I had ice left 24 hours later. We love this little machine!

Great little icemaker
I have had this icemaker since September 2022. I am very happy with it and so thrilled that I no longer have to go buy bags of ice. And if I fill the ice bucket that I keep in my freezer with ice from that machine, I don’t have to make ice again for quite a while. But I decided it was probably better to keep using the ice machine on a regular basis. So every day or every other day I go ahead and run one batch of ice by filling it with water to the fill line. When it’s finished making ice out of that water, I put it on standby. And depending on how fast I use that ice I may not make ice the next day. But I probably run it every other day because you just pour the water in it and walk away. Pretty simple to use. Like I said, I think it’s probably better to run it pretty often rather than let it sit for a longer period of time. I will fill my ice bucket if I am expecting company so that I don’t run out of ice. But the great thing is if you do run out of ice, you pour water in it in and in about six minutes it makes a batch of nine cubes and in about 35 minutes it makes a basket full of ice. So you can have more ice really fast if you need it. One thing that might be a little deceiving and they don’t really address it in the description of it. You need to empty the ice basket as soon as it gets full and put it in the freezer immediately. This machine is not a freezer or even really a refrigerator. it makes the ice and dumps it into the basket, but it will melt if you don’t empty the basket and put it in your freezer. Probably works on the same idea as even the large icemakers that you see in restaurants. It’s just a bin full of ice, and if left there for too long, it will melt. so as soon as it stops making ice you need to dump that ice into a bucket in your freezer. Like I said, it’s a great little machine and I love it. My refrigerator never had an icemaker in it.
