When you fill your safe these things come in very handy. Lol. They are simple in design and effective. The back of them have the "rough" side of velcro making a perfect match to the soft carpet lined interior of a safe. I would advise to think about placement so you put them into place once. I can see that repeated positioning to different spots would easily tear up the lining of the safe. That being said, they are secure enough to hold full size firearms without much concern of them falling off. They can certainly hold mid and compact sized firearms without any concern at all.

This is the 2nd set of these I've owned. They work perfect and don't harm the finish.

Good quality item, well padded for protection to your guns. The velcro hooks is very secure when attached to the carpet lining of the gun safe and has supported even my heavier handguns, however, if you have to remove for position adjustment too many times it may cause the Holster to sag due to loose carpet. An option to increase holding strength is to use small screws to attach the holsters, if your safe design allows. These holsters also allows for maximizing the space in any cabinet, as you can space them according to the room in your cabinet...I'm currently on my second set.

These velcro holsters free up much needed room in my stack-on 14 gun convertible safe. I arranged my safe with shelves on one side for handguns and the other side for my long guns. I quickly discovered that I didn't have enough room for other things like expensive jewelry, important documents, etc. because my handguns filled the shelves. By sticking these holsters on the safe door, I freed up all the shelves for the other things I wanted to lock up. Very useful for expanding room in the safe and putting the handguns right up front for quick access if needed. The velcro holds very tight to the carpeted interior of the door. I'd have given it 5 stars if the holsters were available in different sizes. There is no problem holding large handguns but I have some smaller ones for concealed carry and the "one size fits all" allows them to slip to the bottom and makes access less convenient. That is the only suggestion I have to make this product better, otherwise, I'm totally satisfied.

Great product! I read the reviews and made some modifications in use. I staggered the placement and made sure they were straight up and down. This allowed for better weight distribution as I was worried about the carpet coming lose on the safe door. Since the Velcro is straight down the middle, I noticed a very slight pull on the ends of the Acorn Holsters. I used cubicle pins to clamp back the sides of the holsters. Worked great. Also, I would avoid moving these things around on a regular basis. This does put a strain on the carpeting on your safe door. If you must remove them, use your finger in between the holster and the safe door. Don’t rip them off. Overall, great purchase.

These safe door holsters fit every handgun (revolvers and semiautomatic) I have and the velcro holds to the door carpet securely.

These are the original and best velcro safe door holsters. They have just the right shape to hold most pistols...others sold here look the same but are not, and don't fit most pistolsThese Acorn brand are the one's to have. I have been using them for 20 years.
