KILMAT 80 mil 36 sqft Car Sound Deadening Mat, Butyl Automotive Sound Deadener, Audio Noise Insulation and dampening

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!

The 36 Sqft. Was enough to do two trunks, a Mazda 3 and Civic Si. Cutting to size was easy with a ruler and box cutter. I like how each sheet has small squares indented into them which helps out alot when measuring the exact size i want. Adhesion is of high quality. Sound quality is very noticeable, i hear less road noise which is the number one reason i bought it. I have yet to test out for heat isolation and temperature control.

Quick shipping. This worked well to deaden the sound in my truck, hugh difference. It does take some time to install, but worth the effort.

I used the KILMAT 80 mil 18 sqft pack on the wheel wells of my Ram ProMaster, and it was incredibly easy to work with. The material cuts and molds easily to any shape, rolls out smoothly with a roller tool, and sticks extremely well to the metal.

Good quality. Easy to cut, easy to apply. Rolls on easy. Good adhesive. Lowered the cabin road noise in my Mustang and lowered the cabin db of the exhaust. Installed with a full custom audio system. Would purchase again.

what a difference this product makes in road noise and insulation in cab. it's easy to use and put on. when cutting be careful edges will be sharp. if trying to use you hands only to adhere product you will get CUT i removed the interior of truck as other mods where being done at same time, it might be a little more difficult to install if you had to work around interior, also removed all inner door panels and did inside doors that was a little tricky but it can by done it made a world of difference did not do cab roof, headliner to hard to remove without damage so I used foil faced heat barrier slipped right in BUY THE ROLLER TOOL KIT, WITHOUT IT YOU WILL NOT GET GOOD ADHESION OF MAT AND SOUND DEADING

Really good product for the price, I used it on the doors in my 2008 civic SI. It sticks really well and does a good job of deadening vibrations and adding mass. It forms to things and cuts well, but still holds enough of a shape to not seem floppy or cheap. The doors seem a lot more solid and sound good when they close compared to before.

I purchased this for insulating both my door panels and the back of the door cards during my audio system install. I'm no expert, but this product was easy to cut, easy to install and had noticeable results. Road noise was reduced vastly, which was the main goal for this project.
