These decks are good for newcomers to learn the game or for those that want a relaxing fun experience. Definitely no good for tournaments, so if you want a competitive deck, go for either Miraidon League Deck or Calyrex League Deck (Psychic).

My husband and I got these so we could relearn how to play. We're having a lot of fun.

This is a them deck. Which means if you read the description here and on the back of the box. It lists, exactly what cards you’re going to get and how many copies of each are included. This is to give you a premade 60 card deck for each theme Pokémon. If you know how to play the game, you know having multiple copies of energy, support and Pokémon cards are built into decks on purpose so that you have a higher chance of drawing those cards when you play. A lot of other reviews complain about the duplicates as if they got tricked. When in fact, these theme decks are always made this way. Which is why they list exactly what cards you’re going to get

These are really cool Pokémon decks for intense players. It’s a little steep on price for those just casually playing or trying to start playing. But, these are really great fun and good decks for the player keen on re-invigorating their play.

I got this as a gift for my 13yr. daughter for Christmas as she is a huge fan of Pokemon and has been collecting the cards for years. She loves when they come in packs with extras like the collectable Coins.

My boyfriend bought us battle academy few months ago and we loved it Were about to be out of state so as a surprise I got us new decks because we’ve been playing the crap out of the original 3 absolutely cannot wait to play with him and see his reaction haha
