Enjoyed reading this book, very timely in this divided world. Mr. McBride's story describes differences and how they were overcome with time, patience and understanding. The Nod is a moving book, which tugs at the heartstrings.

Very touching novelette about Team Spirit and accepting both cultural as well as emotional differences of team members. Enjoyed the interplay of individual personalities and the importance of a Team Captain who is respected by Manager and all players. Linda Gilbert
