WHY isn’t this on my store shelf anymore?!!
I have used Dorsel’s Self-Rising White Cornmeal to make my cornbread for 40 years. My mother used it as far back as I can remember to make her cornbread, too. WHY did it all of a sudden “disappear” from Kroger’s store shelves?! This is an EXCELLENT product! It makes far superior cornbread to the “Cornmeal Mix” that is allowed to still remain on the shelf! I went to several stores here in Cincinnati to try and find this - but they ALL stopped carrying it! Not sure what is “up with that” - but I am protesting - and loudly! However, I was so tickled to find this online - that I ordered a case of it. It comes in sealed (and resealable) plastic bag type containers and will stay good until I use it. Thank you, Dorsel’s - for finding a good “work around” idea by selling this on Amazon!
