The 8 piece kit includes three round file sizes: 5/32" for sharpening 3/8" low profile pitch chains, 3/16" for sharpening .325 pitch chains, and 7/32" for sharpening 3/8" standard chains. A universal filing guide includes the proper angles for sharpening the appropriate cutter size. The depth gauge and flat file accurately and consistently sharpen down the cutter's depth gauge so the leading edge can grip the wood and start the cut. Also included in the field kit is an ergonomic wood handle that fits any of the round file sizes or the flat file. The field kit itself comes with a nylon carry case that contains a velcro loop to easily attach to belts.
