Able to adjust the water flow with a simple turn
I live in a High Desert area, where annual rain fall is 3-5 inches per year and there are water restrictions. I have various types of plants in my yard, from oak and olive trees, to rose bushes , to cacti. It's important to maintain the proper flow and amount for each of these types of plants. Our summers can reach 110-115 degrees. I would go to the local nursery and pick out 20 to 25 emitters , some had flow rates of .5 gph, 1gph, 2 gph and up. I pain $.25 to $.40 for each one. Know all I have to do is put the adjustable emitter on and adjust the red cap for the amount of water I need for the plant. At first you may have to look at the area covered over 30 min. to 60 min. to make sure your covering the root system and the depth it sinks in over that time period. You also don't want to overwater and end of drowning the plant. Before if I found a 2 gallon emitter was to much, I would have to cut it off and put on a 1 gal or .5 gal. I notice other reviews had similar problems in inserting the 1/4 in. barb into the 1/4 tube. A little extra effort maybe needed. If your tubing is exposed during the summer the tube may get soft and easier to insert. I may not use this emitter on cacti, even at the lowest rate it maybe too much water. Either I leave off an emitter or put .5 gal , 3-4 inches away. I recommend this product to anyone and I have to family and friends.

Best value, great quality.
The previous landscaper installed fixed flow rate compensating drippers on front yard for all plants. Problem with those dripper heads is that they are not all equally made. Some spit out lots of water, others barely have water flowing. Only about half of them emit the right amount of water. During hot summer season, they can't do watering job very well. Some plants are dying quickly in the past. This summer it's happening again. Bought this package of Kingso adjustable emitters, replaced those problematic dripper heads. It's totally different. Very easy to change flow rate with these new emitters, from low to high. They should help plants survive this hot summer. Also this big package is a great value, cost per emitter is minimal compared with those from nursery stores. Usually the emitters should be replaced every couple of years. They will be used up eventually. I'd sincerely recommend this product to friends.

Oye vay. Does not last.
These lasted 1 season before the plastic wore down, the red turned grey pink, and the center of the red tops pop off to create a mini geiser. Ive run out of spares now and they stil keep breaking

BAD VERY BAD Quality, DONT LAST even 3 months!!!
Writing this review after 6 months of use, those cheap plastic red emitters became white and they literally start falling apart if you touch them. I used 20 of them each and every one of them either blew of or disintegrated from the heat of the sun. I had to replace them with DIG emitters from Home Depot, they last years.Total WASTE!

UPDATED; Worked just as well as raidrip and toro
These are basic, easy to install emitters. Given that you pay triple for the same product, I will rather stick with these (even given the claim that they deteriorate in the sun). I can always replace them again.Updated one year later------------These definitely bleach out in the sun very quickly. That said, none have failed and they still all spray and adjust just fine.

Adjustable Emitters
These emitters work great. It's easy to adjust the flow from a slow drip up to a 360° streaming output. Of all the parts I have purchased for my drip system, these provide the most bang for the buck!
