This antifreeze is required for the older vehicles with cooling system that has the copper and brass radiators. Now I'm unfamiliar with the the diesel cooling system so you may want to check your owner's manual to see if there is requirements for a special antifreeze. This antifreeze is very good for them radiators that are made with brass, copper and solder. The best value for the money is when you buy 6 or a case.
