Great Neck MS125 125-Pc Marine Tool Set with Water-Resistant Boat Tool Box

I have one in all my boats and has everything I need and hasn’t rusted yet

Good to have on board for quick, minor fixes. These aren't top-notch tools, but that's offset by having a comprehesive, basic set of tools in one compact case. The case is very sturdy and has a gasket that helps prevent dampness from rusting the tools - they're definitely NOT stainless at this price! For more serious repairs, I bring my better tools on board, but I don't want (and don't need) them on board all the time - this kit gets monir jobs done well.

The tool set arrived and I was surprised that the case was good quality and fit nicely. The tools are of medium quality but work when you need them. My kit had two of the same offset screwdrivers and Great Necks customer service was responsive and polite and sent me a replacement part quickly. The only negative thing I've found is that some of the tools in the upper lid don't stay in their places when you open the lid. A couple of small holes and some tie wraps should fix that. Over all this is a great product for the boater.

Horrible tool kit, I bought because I liked the idea of a water proof tool kit. Showed up a day late (not the company’s fault but amazons) and to make things even better it showed up with a broken case (can’t be very water proof if the water proof case is broken) and missing tools. To make things even better on top of that the tools that were in there were complete junk. I wouldn’t let my kids touch them. The only positive thing about this tool set is you will get a bunch of tool shaped hammers.

Several reviewers have commented on the quality of the tools, which i average at best. For the price it seems adequate. The 125 pieces is, I presume, accurate - but they include 11 flimsy cable ties and a sealed package of what looks to be about 40 low quality, assorted crimp on electric connectors. So interpret the 125 pieces accordingly. The best part may be the case - with six edge clips to keep it shut and a rubber seal, I am hopeful that it will dlow down the rust enough do that the tools are usable if they are needed. And the tape measure is A JOKE!! It was wound backwards on the spool, so that instead of automatically retracting when pulled out, it automatically CAME OUT and had to be stuffed back in against the spring. IMPOSSIBLE!! Lasted half way through the first use. No quality control at all it seems.
