Not for beginners

Good reference but in reality it's just easier to use a site that cracks the password as they have more computing power then a typical user.

Concise manual that has earned a place on all my devices.

Great reference book, one of two that I keep in my laptop bag at all times.

Nice handy sized book that fits in with my netbook in my carry bag. Lots of info to hand and saves googling.

A great companion to RTFM or BTFM. The book focuses on password cracking and serves as a hard copy reference for several useful tools and techniques. You may want to check out RTFM or BTFM as a first introduction to this type of reference material. If you find them to be useful, this is a great next step.

This is a wonderful introduction reference guide for getting into hash cracking. I recommend it highly. It has it has a tables of all the hash Algos and their time to crack.
