His books are concise but with the correct level of detail required to excel in medical school exams. They cover all the common (and not so common) conditions likely to come up in exams and include signs and symptoms, risk factors, investigations and management. Coupled with "Tom Tips" which are small nuggets of information that medical school examiners like to test in the exams.I used these books for a large part of my revision (alongside his free podcasts during the commute and the excellent (free!) website) and I credit them in a large part for my success in medical school so far.His books cover >99% of what you will need for your relevant exams. it is great to have all of 'Surgery' or 'Medicine' in one place.I can't recommend them enough and I know a lot of my friends have started to use Zero to Finals resources too.
