This is a very nice knife. The quality is very good. This is the first knife that I bought for myself to use when I cook, it feels very comfortable in my hand and is very sharp. Absolutely worth the price.

I purchased this for my wife who was going through Kyocera ceramics as fast as you would consume a favorite snack food. I figured id save a few hundred bucks and get her a good high carbon chefs knife. This had decent reviews and honestly, I was in a hurry. Lucky me, the knife used daily is still holding up. Its needs a good sharpening 2 times but other than that it can still cut a tomato or slice through the thickest tomahawk chop with ease. It's too bad they don't have them for sale anymore, Id come to get one as a gift for a friend and had hoped this was available. The nice gift box gives it a little extra :-)

When i have to grab a knife this is the first one i grab its just the right weight in my hand. Easy to cut things my choice was onion i didn't even have a chance to cry cause it was cut up that fast.

My wife prefers this knife over one I got at Sur La Table for $500.

Couldn't be more happy with this knife. high quality just as advertised. Not to mention the craftsmanship and beauty of the knife.
