Robert Williams: Mr. Bitchin'

I found it very interesting and done quite well. I felt that it was an honest depiction of a vert talented artist. How do they do it,boggggggles my mind! BCUL

I did not appreciate William's pornographic elements, Anti-Catholic sentiments, and blasphemous depictions of the Lord Jesus Christ.

A very entertaining documentary about an artist I didn't know i was aware of, going back to early Zap magazine issues. Looking at art today, with surreal and comic book undercurrents, it's hard to overstate his influence.

You get a lot of his way of working and if you include a lot of his interviews from various sources (Comic's Journal, Juxtapoz) you will get a vast amount information about Mr. Williams. His art is what inspired the direction of the illustrative fine art scene of the 90's until today. There are pros and cons to the movement, but the very best are always well deserving of their success.

This is the story of a great American artist who helped transform art in America from the 60's until today.

Bob is the real deal, original art madman... he changed everything for the better.
