Simple, Important and a must have
I have been using this unit for several months now; indeed, I have one and gave it to my brother-in-law and bought a new one for my personal use. It is a practical element to have with you always. Per my job as a consultant, I travel a lot and have very diverse spaces to work on. I would review the ethernet port; sometimes, the cable gets stuck and takes more work to extract.A must-have!!

Type c Y splitter should be included for ipad pro m1
this is a good dock for macbook. but if you gonna use it with ipad they should provide a type c y splitter for ipad because...the ethernet and display out are separately wired to two individual type c male so if i want to use display out from the dock i should plug it in. in the first male type c....if i want to use ethernet i should plug it in into seconds male type c which is ridiculous and stupid. so for the third version please include a y splitter for ipad so we can use it for type c ipad

Decent product. External camera on Mac Laggy
It works well with all USB - on MacBook ProProblem is the video reception via the port from an external camera is laggy and slow. If you are using it as a USB-USBC adapter for external camera I don’t recommend it. Don’t know where the problem lies. My other single port USB female to USB-C male works just fine.

Consuming lots of battery of Macbook Pro
Not recommended due to high consumption of laptop battery and less with feature also (dual monitor compatibility)..
