Great Board for Younger Kids!
We got this RipStik Ripster for our son’s 8th birthday, and he absolutely LOVES it! I was surprised by how quickly he picked it up with just a little help from an adult at first. Once he got the hang of it, he was able to use his body to maneuver and turn really well. The smaller size is perfect for younger riders and makes it easy for him to control. The wheels are smooth, responsive, and have held up really well. After almost a year of frequent use, the board is still in almost like-new condition, which says a lot about its sturdiness and overall quality. This has definitely been a hit in our house. It’s easy to learn, very maneuverable, and durable enough to handle regular kid use. I expect our son will get many more years of fun out of it!

Many hours of fun! Highly recommend!
Just recently bought a new ripstick after having another one for five years. Both are highly durable and can go at high speeds. The older ripstick is somewhat hard to turn and the wheels a bit worn. It is hard to learn but definitely worth it in the end. Many hours of fun. Highly recommend!

Got this for my 14 year old for Christmas
This one is shorter than the usual ripstick, think of it as a "sport mode" version. My 14 year old said it's easier to control. If you're full grown man, probably not ideal. Teenage boy or younger? Definitely. Quality product, and smooth ride. Easy to travel with.

My sons loves the rip stick life
It’s great but other kids might get jealous. I got this for my son and he instantly became the popular kid at school. Once he learned to ride it, he took it everywhere and all the other kids seemed to be jealous because they all wanted to ride it. Everyone wants to hang out with him and the girls at the school flirt with him because they think he’s one of those “Skateboarders” I’m worried about him because some kids weren’t meant to be popular and he might not be able to handle the fame. I was once those kids who became popular because I played basketball and had rough years with making bad choices, and don’t want him doing the same. He’s 11. Great little board though and it hasn’t broke yet and seems very durable. But worried about my son.

My son loves it.
I almost broke my tailbone trying it out...and I used to skate. So it was a bit humbling. But get some speed and carve into it and it w9rks. This is sized for a kid and it was for my son and he's already a wiz at it. Not the most efficient way to ride, but it is very fun and you can carve almost like a snowboard, so that's a good time. Just know there is a learning curve, so don't give up on hour one. Even learning to ride a bike takes some time.

So great, we bought 3! Age range 9 - 12.
Takes time to learn, your kids will need to have balance, but once they learn its an awesome skateboard alternative for the driveway. Your kids wont use this to ‘get around the neighbourhood’. Have 3 boys, wouldnt buy for a kid under 9. Over 12 yrs, definitely go to the larger size.
