Heavy duty hose!
This is a well made hose and cam lock fitting makes connecting easy.

good value, quality fittings and hoses
This set is great as far as quality and bang for the buck. Fittings appear to be aluminum and are well machined and fit well. The pick up hose is very durable and will probably last me a lifetime. The discharge hose is a bit heavier in build quality than my old one and will also probably last as well. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is that the intake is 20 foot long, which, unless you are pumping out a basement is too much for most uses, at least mine. I am cutting it in half for my needs. Not an issue to do as the end fitting can be re attached with a couple of hose clamps. The 50 foot discharge hose is also a bit much for my needs and I will cut that too, same gig on that fitting. I am only using it for a small1500 gallon koi pond that has to be cleaned out every couple of years and yearly shoreline maintenance along the lake to blow out leaves from winter with my trash pump. They just didn't offer something with a 10 foot intake and 25 foot discharge which is more suited for my needs. The intake basket/screen is probably a bit oversized as far as what it will screen out and probably larger than needed. It may bee a little large/deep if you want to get the last few inches of water out of whatever you are pumping out. They should offer a shallower intake screen it would solve that issue. Overall a good buy. I would say I would buy it again but this will last me forever.

BAD PRODUCT
DO NOT buy this product, fittings are too small for the pipe and suck air, don't waist your time or money.

Not the highest quality but not bad
For the money not bad but it dose have a few leaks where the pipe and fittings are crimped on.

Clamps not tight
The hose clamps on the suction hose weren't tight. This made priming the pump tough because it was sucking air as well.

Decent
Bought for a project in the future, stored for 6 months, suction hose split in two when unrolling for the first time. Still worth the price. Iโll just add another set of cam locks. Discharge hose was fine, and fittings work well enough. All threads were machined well.

Pump wouldn't prime
Poorly assembled. Hoses had air leaks at connection to adapter. Couldn't tighten due to pressed on clamps. Returned for refund.
