A straight-sided, terracotta clay pot with a stamped flower pattern. Before loading it into the kiln we coated the pot in a silky layer of the finest red clay particles, this layer is called terra sigillata (earth seal). You may see the imprints of our fingers where we hold the pot as it is dipped. These plant pots are hand made, each is a little different with the marks of the maker visible on the surface. Made in Philadelphia using high quality American Clays. The husband and wife team at Palmer Planter Company designs, creates, fires and packs each one with skill and care. Planters have drainage holes, critical for the health of your bulbs and plants. Traditional earthenware planters are perfect for outdoor use as the porous nature of the clay allows the plants root system to breath, letting moisture in and out. Overtime each planter will develop a unique and attractive patina. Earthenware planters will withstand mild winter weather, for the longest lifespan we recommend bringing them indoors during freezing weather. Due to the fact that each planter is made by hand, please allow for slight differences in shape, size and color. Palmer Planter Company was established in early 2017. We offer classic styles, as well modern twists on long standing favorites. Made with high quality American clay, all of our planters and garden accessories are made in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We operate out of two studios and aim to leave as little footprint as possible using electricity generated 100% by wind farms in Pennsylvania to fire our kilns. We use 100% recycled cardboard shipping boxes and paper (all made in USA), no plastic bubble to pack our pots! We do a fantastic job of safely packaging all pots and guarantee they arrive in tip-top shape. Thank you for supporting American made products with American made ingredients.
