4/3/19: This phone with this protector has handled it all very well. Dropped my phone this morning and it hit the corner of my server. The phone survived and the screen protector had a hole it from the impact. It hit and skidded on the sharp corner of my server box leaving a pea-sized hole in the protector. I expected my screen to be cracked or scratched, but nothing. Hoping I have another one left and if not, I'm buying it again. Already in my cart. Great purchase and going with Skinomi from now on.7/23/18: Got to test this screen protector last Friday, unfortunately. I am thrilled to say it passed the test with flying colors! Forgot my phone on top of my car, and it was this screen protector and the Samsung Alcantra case. I was on a rocky, country road and went quite pretty far including two turns before stopping to turn left. That's when the phone flew off and bounced several times. The scrapes on my case indicate the contact points, but there was also a full screen contact on the lower left corner. My phone with the case/protector combo survived perfectly through all of the impacts. There was no damage anywhere to the glass and the phone is pristine. The screen protector is damaged, as is the case in several places, but there is no other damage. The all-glass Note 8 is fully intact! I was shocked and amazed. Great screen protector!Haven't had one bit of lifting anywhere on my phone through all the daily use and cover removals. It has performed perfectly and I will buy Skinomi protectors from this point on.9/2017: Installation was fast and easy, and so far no lifting on the edges or anywhere else. It's not the best I've used, nor the worst. I would prefer a matte finish, but overall it's good as is.

Tried some others, these are kind of strange. You install wet, slide around till in position and squeegee out the "water". I'm used to glass, these have a different feel, almost rubbery. If you look at a light reflection there is a slight texture to it, almost a leather like grain. BUT...BUT and most important, once installed and left to dry (I did mine before bed and let it sit all night) it set up real nice, stuck down tight, the rounded edges are on there solidly and case fits without a problem, there is no bulk so good fit. When using the phone (Note 8) it's crystal clear, you can not tell it's on there. When using the styles the surface is slick and smooth even with the different texture like I said, flawless.Fingerprints were no where near as bad as the others I tried and wipe clean easily. WELL worth the slightly higher price, BUY THIS ONE!!!

Run, do not walk away from this screen protector.PROS: It stuck to the curves and corners immediately, unlike some other brands. It also was bubble-free, which is a big plus. And it worked with a case quite well. So far, this sounds like a terrific plastic protector.HUGE CON: Here's the reason I ggve this a 1 star review. This protector isn't oleophobic, it's oleoamorous. It loves smears. And there's no way to keep the screen clean. Wipe it all you want, it will be covered in smears seconds later. All I could see on this phone was smears, 24/7, at every angle. I don't know of any plastic screen protector that is truly oleophobic, but others don't smear constantly like this one does. I couldn't stand it, so I replaced it with a protector that has bubble problems but isn't covered in smears.If it didn't have that one huge con, I'd choose this over other plastic protectors.

I used Skinomi products for years now, starting with the Note 1 and Sony Xperia SP. The producs never failed to impress, especially with the Lifetime Warranty. The installation is easy, the edges made me feel a bit anxious since they refused to stick... in the first few minutes that is! After 10 minutes or so passed, they started to stick. And after couples of hours everything gets along as expected... Even the corner where I used to peel off the protector from its paper stick! This “touched” part was always the problem. It would not adhere right and is the first to unpeel. The view is clear, somewhat orange-peel, and pitted/lined at places where I used too much force to squeeze out the solution. With the screen turned on, I don’t see anything different.Now the bad: I bought the case friendly version and was hoping it is compatible with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Phone Case Ringke [Onyx] [Extreme Tough] Rugged Flexible Protection, Durable Anti-Slip, TPU Heavy Impact Shock Absorbent Case for Galaxy Note8 - Black. It is not. The protector is just a bit wide. The case barely is tall enough to touch the edge, thus pushing the protector up whenever the case is pressed from the side. I think if the protector or case was a millimeter narrower/lower then this problem solved!

the positive is that it does its job of protecting the screen, but there are a few caveats. first, google search 'skinomi note 8 installation' and watch the video - keep in mind that just about every step in applying the protector is vastly more difficult than they make it seem. but if you exercise lots of patience and a steady hand, the result is good placement and coverage. i'm guessing they put 2 in there because they know just about everyone is gonna mess it up the first time. so that cost them a star. they lose another star because the protector is fairly fragile. if you run your fingernail over it with medium pressure, you'll put a gouge in it. so its great that its protecting the screen, but mine has developed enough scarring over a short period of time that it really takes away from the look of the phone, and i'm tempted to tear it off every time i look at it. i shoulda gone with tempered glass.

I really like this screen protector. Following the instructions it went on very easily and it is almost invisible. The edges haven't lifted so far and it fits perfectly with the clear plastic case that came with my Note 8.This isn't an advertised feature but it appears to be able to heal from very minor scuffs and S-Pen trail marks within 24-48 hours or so - the S7 Edge version did the same. It really helps keep the screen (and protector) in tip top condition and not covered in really minor scuffs (from jean pockets, etc.)
