Q: I think we received a wrong part. The swing doesn’t go together. Should both halves of the swing have tabs sticking out?

Q: Does it ever actually sprout new lima beans?

Ours was outside and the water didn’t drain so it became over saturated. However, I believe it was to grow a string bean so I believe those don’t come back the next year anyway.

Q: We received this as a gift but our package didn’t have any beans. My daughter was so sad. Can I purchase the “magic beans” somewhere?

I was unable to find just the beans for sale. Since they were supposed to be included in the kit, I would try contacting the company directly. They should be able to help you.

Q: Is this suitable for a 3 year old?

Yes. I would think so. They can help plant the seed and water it. It grows fast and tall, doesn’t need sunlight. We kept it in our kitchen. My daughter loved it. I would definitely buy again.
