I purchased these lights back in February and I am just getting around to assembling them and using them. I was a little disappointed in the size of the soft box (which is the only reason why I gave them 4 stars). I thought they would be larger than what they actually are (they aren't super small though). I received every piece and all the bulbs are working. You are not able to dim the bulbs but there are switches on the back that allows you to turn on all four bulbs or just two (which was a unexpected surprise). The light stands aren't the best quality in the world but they get the job done. I would suggest you purchase some sand bags or weigh them down with something for extra security. The assembly of the soft boxes wasn't super hard but they weren't super easy either. I wouldn't pack them away after every use though...too much of a hassle. I am going to store them fully assembled unless I absolutely have to pack them away. I purchased these for video and photography purposes and so far, they work just fine. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I will update my rating, if needed, as time goes on.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I purchased two sets of these lights. I have multiple videos I took but I am only allowed to upload one, so see attached video. I have thus far noticed 4 out of the 6 softboxes have flickering issues. Meaning at least 1 of the 4 lights inside the given softbox is turning on and off. Two of the softboxes flicker a moderate amount (still unacceptable). One softbox flickers A LOT. One softbox is effectively broken, meaning all four lights inside the softbox are off the majority of the time. Although this was cheaper than my Fancierstudio lights (next cheapest option), I've had my Fancierstudio set since May 2015 and those lights are still working perfectly fine. I needed additional lighting and figured I'd try this because it was cheaper but it's created a massive headache having to set all these lights up, and now I'll have to tear them all down and ship them back. I would recommend paying a little more for any other lights set which will actually work.

BEST LIGHTS!! I bought these praying they would work, not break in shipping, and be bright enough and it is everything it says it is! GREAT VALUE and easy to use! Cable length is fine just have it close to an outlet. BE CAREFUL when walking around it because there isn't a lot of weight at the Bottom so it is easy to tip over. Either use sand bags to weigh it down or just be careful.

Although there are 3 stands with 4 light bulbs each, total 12 light bulbs, the volume of brightness is not enough as I expected it will be at least having more light then my room ceiling and stand lights that I used to use for the shots. As you can see from the pictures, the garment and background are not bright. Outcome picture quality is the same to before I have these studio light set. I'm thinking I would just buy more cheaper light stands instead of these kit. Disappointed!

This light kit got the job done, but a lot of the materials felt like they could break at any second. It also is very time consuming to set up and take down; screwing in 12 light bulbs is very exhausting. Also, the soft boxes were very difficult to set up as well. All in all it is an ok light kit, but to take about 20-30 mins to set up and take down is way to long, and that's not including striking where to place the lights.

3 complete softboxes for this price is unheard of. I was skeptical about the quality but I am pleasantly surprised and happy with the overall build and light output. Easy to install just use commmon sense. These are lightweight for portability but sturdy enough for my needs.

Just assembled one of the three lights. And just be warned it's a pain in the butt to assemble. Could be the same for these types of lights. but, ughhh! The second one was much easier! Tip is to put the poles in the light base first. Then loosen all 4 velcro strips around base, and it will go together easier and quicker!

Received this yesterday and so far they work and the quality seems good enough. 3 lights was really a lot of light but for the price it’s almost the same as getting 2 lights so why not I thought. I’m glad I made this purchase as I’m sure they will improve my photo quality.
