Yaatao 6 Pieces Mini Brass Wire Brush Set for Cleaning Welding Slag and Rust

I almost didn't buy these because of a couple of reviews claiming that the handles break easily. I have been using the same first one for over a month now and I don't know what they are doing to break handles but for regular use I have no problems at all. I would think that you would have to really bear down too hard to break the handle. I mean these are brass bristle brushes for gosh sake, for precise cleaning not for extreme duty, lol I found this to be a great deal and like I said, I am still using the first brush. Haven't needed to change to another one yet so yea, I got a good deal.

Rust removal

Easily takes rust off of steel. Cleans my golf club faces. Good for blued metal.

I use a lot of metal racks when I cook so I buy these to clean them. They work great at removing food bits without damaging the racks. They don’t last long though and become a bent mush after a few weeks so I replace them often. But perhaps its because this isn’t what they’re made for, or perhaps because my 13 year old does dishes most of the time and she’s too rough with them. They’re good though, and cheap, so overall a good product.

Does not hold up to vigorous brushing. The bristles are too fine and bend out of the way. The brush quickly flattens and then is useless.

If you actually want to remove rust and welding slag, seek elsewhere. If you need some very soft bristles -- not all that much beyond a toothbrush -- well, here you are. i wanted to gently remove paint residue from scratches in antique window glass. These did that with no (further) damage to the glass. These are for gentle work.

As with most any brass brushes, they are basically one-time use. But they are compact in size, rigid but flexible plastic handle, and do the job as expected. I measured the brush head to be about 1.5 inches in length. The bristles are about half inch long. Works best as a single-use brush but when you need one just for some easy work and don't want to use a clean new brush, then it's good to have the used brushes in the tool drawer.

Brass brush easily pulls out, so it was worthless for 3d printer brushing. I used one for more usual use and some fell out anyway
