V10 V11 SV12 SV14 Reinforced Trigger Power Switch Button Replacement Part for Dyson Vacuum Cleaner Tools Supply, Upgraded Durable Power Button

Installed it two weeks ago and it works like a charm. Taking the vacuum apart and putting it back together was challenging but installing the trigger was breeze.

This is the perfect replacement trigger for the V11 Dyson vacuum. The installation is not very easy but luckily the seller provided the video to go through the step. I definitely had to rewind the video to confirm disassembly process.

I shouldn't have needed this part, the whole trigger mechanism on the Dyson V11 is overly complicated and (it turns out) fragile. It failed, so I needed a replacement, and this one does a nice job trying to fix their flaw by adding more material where the original cracked. Time will tell, but I'm happy with this replacement part.Taking apart the V11 was straightforward, but not fun, so I wouldn't recommend replacing this part unless you have to. But, plenty of YouTube guides out there and got it done in ~30 minutes + one trip to the store for a smaller screwdriver.

I’m mechanically inclined and replacing this switch took a bit of time. I’m sure I would have broke something if I hadn’t searched the internet for a video showing exactly how to disassemble the unit. Their directions are okay but not complete. Oh and long Torx screw drivers are essential. Most importantly the switch works again and we didn’t have to spend $500 on a new Dyson!

Our trigger broke internally on our Dyson V11 back sometime ago. I took it all apart and realized that that was the problem. This replacement fit perfectly and saved a lot of money by just throwing the hole thing away. It did take some time and patience to replace it, but we got it done.

So getting in and replacing the trigger is some work but this is much cheeper than buying a new vacuum.Once you get it all assembled this does the job till it breaks again. I have been through 2 of these over 2 years. If you are handy and have the tools get it and keep that thing out of the trash pile.

This worked perfectly as a replacement for my broken trigger switch in my Dyson Cyclone V10 Total Clean+. This one has what appears to be a much stronger design which should last longer. Time will tell.

This one and the metal one both failed miserably. Just buy a new one but not a Dyson. For what they charge the damn power switch shouldn't fail that easily.
