Souletics Weighted Jump Rope

I bought this product in August 2018 and it was a great starter rope for a beginner. I've used it near daily for 20-60 minute sessions on a padded gym mat and it lasted about 10 months before the rope broke during a workout.

Though it shipped & arrived on time, I'm not pleased. On the FIRST day of using it, the weight came out and the cap that keeps the weight inside rolled into the poison ivy. Needless to say, I didn't go into the ivy to look for it, however, I'm displeased at how flimsy the handles are. Additionally, the rope gets tangled when you're resting between jumps. I would not buy again.

I like this jump rope a lot because it rotates at the handles. Jump ropes I have used in the past require a lot more arm movement, with this jump rope I can get a groove going easier than ropes I have used in the past. I also like the comfort of the handles.

I'm not fully 5'5" and the rope seems too short. Think I may return them as I bought two. One for myself and a friend who I'm working out with.
