[Updated a year later] It does not come with KODI 17.3. It does come with a proprietary version called KDMC 17.3 installed. You must uninstall KDMC and lose all the settings to upgrade it to TRUE KODI 17.4 and beyond. Unfortunate!Yes it works better than my Quad Core 32 bit Android TV Box but only marginally so and I am only using it on a non-smart simple UHD 4K Television. The native bluetooth in the box cannot pair with bluetooth keyboards so I am still using the USB bluetooth adapter that came with the keyboard. (It is now over a year later and no matter what I have tried, I can't get it to pair with my iPazzPort bluetooth keyboard natively)It is loaded with tons of crap Subscribeware crap BLOAT. Nearly everything requires a subscription. I am not interested in all that bloat. I uninstalled or removed most of it.Half of the apps are in in CHINESE or maybe it is KOREAN and I have no clue how to read CHINESE so those apps and features are USELESS for an English Speaker. I keep these CHI/KOR messages that pop-up in the middle of everything and I have no clue what they are trying to tell me!Overall ... better than most of what is out there from a hardware spec point of view but definitely very, very wanting on the software/app side. If you can't figure out how to work the software (CHI/KOR) to control the hardware, the hardware is useless and an ALL ENGLISH BOX would be much better.[Edit] No clue how to change the launcher but I would like to do that -- suggestions would be helpful

I bought this box back in March and I love it. As others have said, it does come with bloatware but it is already rooted so you can remove what you don't want. I did notice that after it first powers up, after loading the launcher, it freezes for a moment when it corrects the time. Also, I had a problem with it powering itself off at times when I would try to run certain apps like Kodi or YouTube but I switched out the power adapter and used the power adapter that came with my 6 year old Roku and the Android box ran fine after that.After a few months I started having issues with the launcher. So I switched that out too, for TV Launcher 2 which works great and is very customizable.This box plays games, television, music...you can use it like a mini computer and browse the web or your favorite shopping apps like Amazon. I love this box and with the 64GB storage (plus expandable storage) there's nothing greater....yet.If you get this box, check out Eternal TV. Better than Kodi and well worth the money.And I almost forgot, you can pair Bluetooth devices with it. Someone else said you can't, but you can. I paired my Bluetooth dualshock 3 controller with it just fine. You just need to make sure the Bluetooth is on so that it can discover your device and then follow your device's instructions to pair it with the box.
