The description states "14K Gold Plating will ensure a very long lasting brilliant finish that is nickel free, lead free and hypoallergenic." Buyer beware!!!! I'm not sure what these are made of, but they irritated by earlobes considerably. The care instructions say not to get wet, so I'm assuming they aren't the best quality, but of course, you get what you pay for. The posts tarnished almost immediately after I dipped them into the sterilizing solution my dermatologist recommended using before inserting any new earrings into my earlobes...I've never had hypoallergenic earrings do that before. Overall, cute, but not worth it if you actually need hypoallergenic earrings.

These earrings are pretty but they look more like a pretzel than an infinity symbol
