Alcohol Test Strips for Breast Milk

Worked great for testing my milk

I use these for the next morning after drinking (hey- I’m a single mom I need a night here and there). Good way to see if it’s cleared my system. There are a lot of different opinions about drinking and breastfeeding but if you want to stay on the side of caution these are fantastic. The color scale based on concentration is super helpful because if it’s faint I know I can wait an hour or so and not need to use another strip. Can’t be too safe!

These tiny little test strips are so worth the peace of mind. I've tried a couple different brands and these seem to be my go to. I like that they change blue when there is still alcohol is your system. However, it can be super faint and sometimes it's hard to tell if it's just the lighting in your house or actually slightly blue. It would be nice if there was a controlled pad with it.

I love this product from Frida mom! It’s a lifesaver and gives me peace of mind. I enjoy my glass of cab sav here and there and these breast milk test strips help me to ensure that I’m not passing any alcohol to my baby! These strips are also super easy to use and fit perfectly in my purse for on the go!

They work!! I am so glad I got these! I am extra careful with my breast milk but I miss enjoying a glass of wine. Even though the recommendation it’s to wait about 2 hours per drink, I’m always paranoid about it and I tested my breast milk 2 hours after a 5oz glass of red wine and the strip turned blue (strip on the left). I tested again an hour later and it showed clear (strip on the right). Definitely a MUST have if you’d still like to enjoy a drink while breastfeeding. The only cons I found it’s that it took about 15 min to show blue, it didn’t show at 2 minutes like advised but they work!

These are a life saver!! Even if I only have 2 glasses of wine I still like to test my breastmilk as an anxious first time mom. These give me the peace of mind I need to be able to enjoy a few and feed my baby safely!!

When you need to feel confident that your milk is safe for baby to drink. I really don't want to dump breast milk if I don't have to. These are great! Just remember to read instructions. You need to separate the milk you're gonna test. I didn't know this at the first time I used it.

I’m not sure how accurate/reliable these are. I used the strip on the breastmilk I pumped less than one hour after my one and only drink and the strip came back white (negative). I thought that the alcohol entered the bloodstream/breastmilk immediately.

Product arrived damaged with Cracks and dents. Wanted to send it back - it was not possible without a shipping fee wich was more expensive than the product itself. Superfail.

They do work but they are bloody expensive!

It does work, helpful when you are worried and want to be sure 100% you are not effecting baby.

Only just received them & they expire next month. I drank a strong cocktail & it didn't detect any alcohol.

I bought these for the holiday season, very easy to use, I can know for certain if it's safe to feed my baby. This has saved me from pumping & dumping after a drink.
