Helps block sun glare and heat, very easy to install
I love it. I wish I had discovered the Bayan Front Side Window Sun Shade years ago. Where I live, summers tend to be very hot and muggy, and this helps prevent the car interior from becoming unbearably hot. Also, it helps block sun glare when driving. It also gives a small measure of privacy if I want to sit in the car on a coffee break. It was very easy to install, and it only took a minute. There are a number of tiny but powerful magnets which easily attach to the top and side of the interior window frame. I have an SUV (Honda CR-V), and it fits fine. I have an assigned parking space in the sun, and I find that when I pair this with a good windshield sunshade, it really makes a difference. The bottom does hang loose, which at first I thought might bother me. But as it turns out, it doesn't bother me at all. (I believe there is also another version that has a thin strap at the bottom, if that is an issue for anyone.) When I wish to remove it, it pulls off instantly.

Great Product
I purchased this after reading many reviews on auto window shades and used these on a 3700 mile trip. This is a great idea (attaching the shade to the metal frame of the door) and makes installation a breeze. Only downside is this material is rather shear and you can easily dislodge a magnet from the seam - we will need to resew at least one magnet back into the seem. The shades do provide good protection against the sun and you can see through them, although use with caution. The shades do not cover the entire front windows and that's a good thing since you want to keep you views to the rear view mirrors open. For me, the shades were a bit long so they hang a fair distance down over the door - found myself tieing them in a knot at the bottom. If you don't do this, you'll find the bottom of the shade often gets caught in the door when you close it. Overall I recommend this given its solid mounting with magnets, ability to provide decent sun shade, not blocking the mirrors and easy take down and fold into a small space in a handy zip pouch that comes with them.

Great Shade, Helpful Magnets But Adhesive Terrible
Window Screens provide a great amount of protection and shade. They stay firmly on the top and side of the window and you can roll down window as described, however, the adhesive magnets do not work at all. We received only 3/4 of the 3M adhesive magnets and none of them will stick (this may be due to the fact it was shipped in the heat, however, we live in AZ so these would be used in heat which was the point of buying them).

Fiddly to use and does not block sun's heat
Technically, it fit my Honda CR-V but with a little modifying. The magnets (some of which are missing in key spots) will only contact metal with my door open. I can put it on then close the door, but then I cannot easily pull it off without opening the door. It's not an easy or quick job to put it on because the magnets all stick to each other pulling it into a wad of fabric you can't tell top or bottom from. Takes two hands and not something you could do while driving! I found that while I can see through it easily, I did feel like it affected my ability to judge speed and distance of cars coming at me while making a left turn, so I took it off. I also found that when the sun was glaring into the window, it didn't feel any different having the shade on or off, anyway. All in all, not worth the purchase.

Excellent purchase
I've had these for a few months now, and I **love** them. I can't believe I've been driving around letting the sun hit that one side of my face for so long! The package comes with 2 shades, but I double them up and use them both for maximum shade. The magnets are sewn in the lining of 2 sides, and work well so attaching and removing the shades as needed is really quick. I also like that when I need to look to the left, all I have to do is slide the fabric back, the magnets hold it tight, and then I can slide it forward again when I'm ready to drive. These are thin enough to see through, but thick enough to block the sun while I'm driving. One of the best purchases I've made in years.

Car drape for the win!
I recently had to remove the tint on my driver and passenger side windows; and I really hate the sun hitting me while driving! I was looking for an cheap and easy-to-install alternative to block the sun, and this works perfectly! The length is just right so that it blocks the sun, but does not drape over your arm. The magnets are strong and stay in place (even with the window cracked open while driving). And I really like how the drape does not obstruct the view of your side mirrors. If your looking for an easy and affordable fix, this is your product!

It lacks...
It lacks holding power. The magnetic are too small. Just having the window open a bit below it off.

The max speed I could go was 35 MPH without completely fearing the shades would be sucked out of the window
These came exactly as described and provide what I was looking for. They have magnets and stick to the metal part of your door frame. These are tiny magnets. They are strong enough for a minimal breeze. I had my windows half way down and the shades up.The max speed I could go was 35 MPH without completely fearing the shades would be sucked out of the window. Any faster in speed, and the windows will need to be rolled up a bit. I will give credit where credit is due, throughout all the testing I did, not once did any shade fall down. That's pretty impressive. The only reason I didn't give it five starts, is the bottom part of the shade that hangs down could really use something to hold it in place. I think I will either pin mine to my door or use a small piece of velcro to keep it steady. It would be the perfect shade if some type of solution was already in place. Very useful anyway and I have enjoyed the protection from the sun.
