Thanks for yet another excellent product, Ruffwear! I bought a cheaper brand (left a very poor review) and should have spent the few extra dollars for The Beacon. I've only charged it once since I started using (over a month now) and it still is holding a nice, bright charge and I walk my Barkley every night for over 30 minutes, so it is used very regularly. It's sturdy, has 3 bright lights/pulses/ and is easy to click between. It can hang on the collar, or in my case, I clipped it to my dogs harness. I've had people comment on what a great light - so bright (but not obnoxiously bright at all!) and safe! Keeps us both extra safe at night. I liked this one so much, I got my grand-dog one for Christmas.

Obviously I bought this light for the dog, but I found myself using it also. Extra visibility while running or biking. When my usual lights run out of power this light keeps going. I had this on blink for over 8 hours and it still wasn't dead. Even during daylight I feel safer while biking with an active light. The ring on top isn't very reliable, but the clip on it's back hasn't given me issue. It has 3 different colors and a variety of settings. I like my lights rechargeable, and not have to worry about watch batteries that cost almost half the cost of the light itself. Even though my dog stays on leash. I still want him visible when it's dark.

I've been using the same Ruffwear light, on our dog for four years. They are well made , bright and lightweight.

I ordered this light in October 2022 and it has performed flawlessly since then. I’m only writing this review due to the power button cover coming off. (It still works but my guess is it’s no longer waterproof )Pros:1. It’s very bright. I can see my dog at any part of my backyard during the night.2. It’s extremely durable. It’s lasted four years on a very active Shiba Inu.3. The battery charge lasts months. Even when it begins to flash red warning you of a low battery that low battery status will last a week.Cons:1. It’s too bright and depending where you have it located on the collar it can give you some night blindness while walking at night with a leash.2. The rubber flap over the charging port can be difficult to hold open and insert the charging cable at the same time. I sometimes feel like I need a third hand.3. The charging port is micro USB. I would like to see it upgraded to USB-C.

Very bright and durable. Battery life is good too.

The following features are great:- very easy to clip to ruffwear harness (and I have two different styles and it works for both)- super bright and the three color options are great bc I can set one color for my one lab and another color for my second lab- very light weight- long battery life - these beacons have never died on me. I have charged them 2-3 times in over a month and we use them every night, several times a night

Awesome. My husband puts it on our black lab every night so I don’t trip over him when I go to bed later than him & the dog!

I've had multiple Rufware Beacon lights over the years, most have been really reliable. As of recently the quality has gone way down while the price has gone way up. Three of the four lights I've received and subsequently returned do not hold a charge. They turn off (and won't turn back on) within 10-min of a full charge. This leaves my dogs in a dangerous situation when we are walking in the dark, which is unavoidable during the winter months. This is especially important since we live in an urban area and we need to be visible to cars. If Rufware can figure out their Quality Control issues with these lights I'll continue to be a customer, but until then I'm looking for a different product.

Drei Farben..drei Einstellungen...super hell...perfekt zu befestigen am Geschirr d.h. auch sehr gut bei viel Fell zu sehen...sehr leicht und handlich...ausserdem aufladbarer Akku mit Warnung bevor er leer ist..absolut perfekt und empfehlenswert!

This is a very bright light. If you have a ruff wear harness it has its own loop for the light but can easily be attached to other harnesses or collars. The light has several colours Red Green blues and can either be steady or flashing. It recharges quickly via usb. It is bright especially on the green and blue settings

以前、安価なものを購入したら、人間の目に刺激強すぎだったり、すぐに充電がなくなったり、散歩中に充電が切れるなどイマイチで、人間が電池式の懐中電灯を持って散歩していました。しかし、大型犬ということもあり両手が空いていないとやはり不安。色々調べてこちらの商品に行き着きました。充電の持ちは良いし、充電がなくなっても暫くは照らし続ける機能もあり、さらに耐水性。ケチらずもっと早く購入しておけば良かったです。

Acheté il y a un peu plus de deux semaines c’est parfait avec la nuit qui tombe tôt et les promenades matinales. Le clips à plat se décroche effectivement, pour remédier à ce problème j’ai passé le collier dans la boucle metallic plate et j’ai passé un porte clef accroché à la boucle ronde de tel sorte qui ne le perde pas. En deux semaines je ne l’ai chargé qu’une seule fois. Je recommande.
