Already have KC200 outdoor camera which is good but without all the features of this new model. (No built in SIM facility on KC200) I have switched off the LED lights and IR at the moment as the video is clear enough without them and it does not stand out at night. That said, they are both good. I have spot lights that detect a person on the drive and they provide more than sufficient lighting. The video is recording in colour with just a weak street light and the sensitivity is correctly identifying a person. I have a128gb micro sim which is more than adequate for several days recordings. I have taken a snap shot of 4.15am today and it is good and in clout. When lights come on it’s outstanding. Came with a USA plug power adaptor. (See photo)The cable is USB ended and fits any suitable adaptor or usb socket. I highly recommend this product but get your own power adaptor.

Easy set up and fitting and powered by USB, connected to the Kasa app first time and stays connected despite poor wifi signal, excellent picture quality even at night. Recommended.

Camera worked for a brief period then lost the live-view and stopped recording on to the installed SD Card, in spite of very good Wifi signal (5 metres from camera) via a TP Link access point.Completely powering off and on would restore live view but only briefly.Been through troubleshooting via Kasa Community but no fixes helped.Image seemed good during the times when camera was working.Difficult to rate since I assume camera was faulty and hopefully not a general issue but that is an assumption.Giving 3 stars for good picture quality (when working).Returned as faulty.

The media could not be loaded. Im 4 yr long user of the kasa system, i have 13 kc200 cams, this one is a test to upgrade: Claims to be 2mp but the reality is that the previous 1080p camera has the exact same pic quality, so you still cant see clear registrations. The cameras are laggy despite strong upload and download speeds here. This mean if you get notifications you can be waiting 1-2mins to upload the live view.. at this time youve missed all key moments. Live view is also laggy, stoppibg and starting regularly. (See my video) The kasa app is very limited on recording times, i think 22-30secs is the max, often missing key moments. You will need to pay up to £108 a year fir 10 cameras and the 30 day recording functions if you have 11+ cameras you can only pay individually at £36 a year each costing £396 a year. Theres no way to avoid this and kasa have no solution for you.. convenient! This is low budget and although i have little exoerience with other available systems this one is very “xmas cracker”

I like the idea of this. I have used it outdoors but does drop out every so often and shows offline. I'm not that far away from my router.Also would be nice if they did a black or brown version

Can't power it up because it has a US 2 pin plug. It came from the US and has to be returned to the US to get a refund. Because its not covered by the standard UK Amazon returns processes, it has to be sent back via the post office. And its recommended that it be insured as its over a certain value. Not sure if there will other, additional costs when presented to the post office for return. I can't comment of functionality of the device as its not been out its box.
